JOKER Becomes Pregnant And Gives Birth In THE MAN WHO STOPPED LAUGHING #4 JOKER Becomes Pregnant And Gives Birth In THE MAN WHO STOPPED LAUGHING #4

Yeah... this is a weird one. In the latest issue of Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing, the Clown Prince of Crime discovers that he's pregnant. How does such a thing happen? Find out here...

So yeah, this happened.

DC Comics has come up with all sorts or weird and wonderful (and not so wonderful) scenarios for The Joker over the years, but we reckon this latest development for the iconic villain in the pages of Matthew Rosenberg and Francesco Francavilla's Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing #4 has to be the most bizarre yet.

The Clown Prince of Crime becomes pregnant, and gives birth to a miniature version of himself.

How did this happen? The explanation actually does make a certain amount of sense (at least in the context of this story), as magic-wielder Zatanna is involved. After having his plan to steal Gotham's water supply foiled, Joker decides to flirt with Zatanna in the hopes of starting a family in a more traditional sense. Disgusted, the hero casts the backward spell, "On eno esle lliw reve evah ruoy ybab!," which translates to: "No one else will ever have your baby!"

Unfortunately, the spell has unforeseen consequences, as Mr. J wakes up the next morning with a bun in the oven, before promptly vomiting up a blob of sentient goo that transforms into a miniature version of himself.

While some have seen the funny side of this ridiculous plotline, others are a lot less pleased (certain sites are outraged). To be fair, attention-grabbing headlines were always the main goal here, so it just remains to be seen how things will progress.

For now, check out some preview images at the link below, and let us know what you make of Joker giving birth to himself in the comments section.

@Matador - joker’s become cemented as this almost mythic role in hollywood now, where every actor who’s cast takes it so seriously, which is so weird when you see the source material doing shit like this lol. it’s like they’re two completely different entities at this point

@tmp3 - If this was done in the 80's or 90's it would seemed odd and probably even funny. But it's just cringy for the fact it's actually happing in real life and were forced to believe what one is that is not.

Joker can be the most twisted character of all of DC border lining on pure evil but most entertaining villian to be mostly hated thru his actions.

People who are outraged are taking it too seriously lol
It's magic
Origame
Origame - 1/9/2023, 11:36 AM
@Vigor - just because it's magic doesn't make it any less stupid.

@Vigor - Magic doesn't automatically give you a free pass with everything.

@Urubrodi - It quite literally does lol

@Vigor - It’s magic and also a [frick]ing comic book lmao are people forgetting that this exact same company also published shit like this

@Vigor - I don't think anyone is "Outraged" I don't think people are "Outraged" about any of this stuff. It's an eye roll, not outrage. It's just stupid and we can acknowledge it.

@DarthOmega - just to let you know, because you said you don't think anyone is outraged. People like Brandon Morse said they were done with DC and this story was the final nail in the DC coffin, and people like Ben Shapiro signal boosted it and shared it. And then read those tweets. If you don't see the outrage I'm jealous of you, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

@Origame - it's no more stupid than the movie Junior, but no one cried about culture wars back then.
Origame
Origame - 1/9/2023, 4:04 PM
@SATW42 - ...because it was a stupid movie about a pregnant Arnold when he was already becoming washed up. This is the single most popular supervillains in comics. On top of that, anyone who's actually read it instead of read the summary will tell you it's woke trash.
SATW42
SATW42 - 1/9/2023, 4:09 PM
@Origame - have you read it, because I'd love for you to explain to me how the Joker becoming pregnant because of a misused magic spell and then puking up a mud monster that forms into literally a "mini-me" Joker is woke?
Origame
Origame - 1/9/2023, 4:18 PM
@SATW42 - personally no I haven't. But reviewers I trust have and they said it's woke trash. Also it's in the day and age marvel and dc are killing the comics industry with woke politics so this being woke trash is pretty obvious from it being a dc comic in the current year.

@Origame - "On top of that, anyone who's actually read it instead of read the summary will tell you it's woke trash."

"Have you read it?"

"No"

we're done here.

@SATW42 - where in the phrase "anyone who's actually read it" did I indicate I was talking about me specifically?
SATW42
SATW42 - 1/9/2023, 4:57 PM
@Origame - I'll reply one more time, just so it doesn't seem like I walked away for any other reason than actually being done with this.

g'day sir.
Urubrodi
Urubrodi - 1/9/2023, 5:10 PM
@TUD @Dredd97 - Ok, let me explain what I meant, you could literally come up with any shit story and bad idea and just use magic as an excuse. Magic doesn't require an explanation, it's basically a shortcut for anything. One might think, how the hell did the Joker get pregnant or wasn't Peter Parker married to MJ, what happened? Magic.
Origame
Origame - 1/9/2023, 5:26 PM
@SATW42 - so...you say you don't want it to seem like you aren't walking away for no other reason than being done, yet there's no other reason given.
