@SUPERBATSPIDERMAN dude, thats actually a very cool concept and I could roll with that...maybe his alias could be Edward Nigma! But since Bruce saved his life in TDK, wouldnt that be a conflict of interest in his motivation as the Riddler to face-off against the caped crusader? Maybe it could be Reese believes the story that Batman DID kill Harvey Dent (still hate the fact they killed him off already) and that fact outweighs Bruce saving his life and he then becomes the Riddler? Idk I'm just speculating off of the idea and how it could work.

I'm kinda surprised Deadshot wasn't on the poll.

I don't know if its just me, but I hate the idea of Depp as Nashton. If anything I'd like to see Nolan pull someone directly out of left field that we've never even thought to imagine to play The Riddler. Just like he did with Joker.

But, I'd prefer if Riddler had nothing to do with the next Batman film. The Riddler's already been done. Sure it was done horribly, but its been done before. Nolan needs to tackle a new character (i.e. Deadshot, Firefly, Bane, etc.)

Though everyone seems to think a female lead is a must for a movie based on a comic book (Nolan could break the rule), I don't think we'll be getting Catwoman, despite the fact that I want her to be in it, and her prescence would make a box-office hit, due to her popularity with the masses. From what I've read from around the web, (including here), Catwoman really doesn't seem as popular as she used to be. Maybe it was the Halle Berry take on the character that did her in, but I don't know. Goyer also seems to have severed her connection to the third film.

I also realize now, in relation to Riddler, that the character, if he were to be used, should have been used in The Dark Knight. But seeing as how the Joker was set up in Batman Begins, he was obviously the villain of choice.


Due to the enormous success of Dark Knight, the third film being a blockbuster is a guarantee (for the most part) so if Nolan and co. decide to use Black Mask and Deadshot (a really popular combination it seems) then it probably won't matter. And if there is a major female prescence it could be Vicki Vale, the Huntress, or someone pulled out of the hat. Huntress could be good if they go for a successor storyline, and Vale could be useful if they go with a "Matches Malone" scenario, where she winds up finding the connection between Malone and Wayne, as being one in the same.


But anyways, these are just some ideas I'm throwing out there.

coleman reese ok well i like idea of riddler if not joseph as joker cause he looks liek ledger and under makup uncanny but as nolan i do repect legders death so no joker and how can that guy be riddler theres a difference in name from
