According to Huffington Post, a five-year-old leukemia patient Miles gets his wish to become Batman thanks to Make-A-Wish-Foundation.

Happening November 15 THOUSANDS of San Francisco citizens will take part in the event to help make the event possible.

In the morning of the event, Miles A.K.A. "Batkid," will be called upon the city's police chief to spring into action and fight crime happening all over the city.

He will be rescuing a damsel in distress, apprehending The Riddler for robbing a downtown vault, and saving a group of volunteers from The Penguin.

Following the arrest of Penguin Miles will head to City Hall where Mayor Ed Lee will thank him for his heroic service and hand him a key to the city. Many of the volunteers will be present to cheer the young "Batkid" as he receives his honorary prize.

Personally, I think this is a fantastic story and hope to see some kind of pictures or footage of the event. As I tell you of this event I cannot help but try my hardest to hold back tears.

Seriously. It's awesome..

I never find these things uplifting, just morbidly depressing.

Hope the kid has a blast, all the same.

Ok...first of all what I'm about to type might make some people angry and I'm sorry and I mean no disrespect to the kid or his family. But many people, kids and adults are diagnosed and or have cancer everyday. I feel the money shouldn't just go to this kid to make his dream come true but to actually funding a cure to save all lives and have their wishes come true of not having cancer.

With that said, I'm happy for the kid.thats so great and I wish the best for him and his family! ;D

all i can think of now is thousands of citizens running around the streets committing crimes and wearing costumes. by the time night comes san francisco has turned into a cesspool of crime and corruption, ruled by masked criminals where ordinary citizens live in constant fear. then it's up to this kid to become batman and save the city before he dies of cancer.

i mean hey does want to be batman, doesn't he?
