Possible TDKR Updates: European Actress Being Sought, Robin NOT In Movie

Word over at Batman On Film is that the call has gone out for another actress to fill an unknown role, and that the earlier report of Robin appearing holds no water. Click for the details..

Will we be seeing some more ladies present in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises? BOF seem to think so. They also debunk the previous rumor that Robin will make an appearance..



A little birdie with a red breast tells BOF that a THE DARK KNIGHT RISES casting call has gone out for a "European actress."

I can assure you that Robin -- be it FJD, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, or Damien Wayne -- will not appear in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. THESE FOLKS simply have their facts wrong.


BOF's reliability is questionable depending on who you talk to really. They have been right and wrong in their scoops/guesses/assumptions in the past so don't take any of this as gospel for now. But if Nolan is indeed seeking another actress of the European variety for a role, who might she be playing, if anyone of significance of course?

...Talia? She's European-ish right? I always think Eastern Europe when I think of her, so perhaps they'll get a European actress (if it's her at all).

They're saying no ROBIN but that doesn't mean that we possibly won't see either Dick Grayson himself or NIGHTWING. We'll just have to wait I guess.

maybe this casting is just for a minor love interest for Bruce. just like they used actress Beatrice Rosen who played Natascha to be a minor love interest in the TDK

No Robin means that Nolan could care less about Batman and His mythos..

See the word POSSIBLE in the headline? If your unsure as to the definition of the word I believe google has an idiot proof dictionary, And the report of Robin being in the film came from a different source genius, this one from BOF (seems) to debunk it. Anything else I can help you with?
