Last night Nolan was presented with the Modern Master Award for Inception at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Comingsoon.net were in attendance and took note of the following.

When asked where he got the title(TDKR) from Nolan joked..

"I banged my head against the wall. We've worked on it a long time - David Goyer and myself. We're about 12 weeks away from shooting. We start in May."

So there you go, May, not March as was suggested by the Bucharest news reports we saw the other day. Nolan was then asked why he ultimately decided to make this third Batman film, as he was always unsure if he would return to the franchise. He said: "It was about finishing the story"

Next Nolan was asked if Anne Hathaway would be suiting up as Catwoman or remain plain old Selina Kyle but he just smiled coyly and wouldn't say a word.

The git! It appears that famous Nolan secrecy will keep us guessing about that one for a little longer. TDKR is scheduled to hit theatres July 20th 2012.
