Is Catwoman's Mask Made Out Of Batman's In The Dark Knight Rises?

Is Catwoman's Mask Made Out Of Batman's In The Dark Knight Rises?

Well one theorist thinks so...click here to take a look at some evidence that might suggested Selina Kyle has been raiding Bruce Wayne's Bat closet to create her own special head gear.

There is really no evidence to support this, but someone has pointed out over at Secret Underground Headquarters Via /Film that some of the features that are on Catwoman's mask are very similar to those found on Batman's. As shown below you can notice the tears on the mask as well as the hallow ears. Now also keep in mind there is also a theory that he goggles she wears flips up into the ears so that could just be them as well, so look at this and take this with a grain of salt.

What do you guys think any validity to this? If you think its true how do you suppose Catwoman got a hold of one of Batman's masks? As ussual sound off in the comment boxes below.

Catch The Dark Knight Rises in theaters on July 20, 2011!

The "ears" are just compartments of the goggles that go back, like common sunglasses. And I don't think she'd go to all the trouble to break the cowl (which supposedly is super durable) just to make a domino mask...

I thought they transformed into those funky goggles?

Sounds fairly plausible. But yeah, it's probably just the goggles.

Also, the edges aren't jagged/ripped. It's just their design:

I highly doubt this is possible as well but I would not be surprised in the least if this were to be true.

Catwoman´s look lowered interest for this movie alot.
Seriously who the hell she thinks she is going to beat in that costume?... And in those heels?

Im actually more excited about Spielberg´s & Jackson´s Tintin than this.

different shaped/sized eyes and ears on the masks. False.

Wow. someone did some thinking here.

to answer the questions though, do i think it's batman's mask, no.

do i think it's possible it's batman's, yes.

how would she get it? well if catwoman is catwoman, she'd probably be good at stealing things. wouldn't be a stretch for selina kyle to get curious about bat's, find out he's bruce, and break into the under construction batcave and find a mask.

but im with the majority, i think the ears are the goggles flipped up.

Also, a munchkin plummets to his death in Wizard of Oz.

Nice imagination, Jake, but I think that's stretching it. If you're right, many apologies.

I know for a fact that her goggles can automatically flip over her eyes and onto her head like ears, so I'd definitely have to say this is a negatory :)

I actually like the look. I think the cowl would've been better, but she has worn the mask and ears before, so it's not entirely different.

Not unless her and Bale's faces are the same size.

I suppose it's plausible.

Dont think it's from his mask directly but could be the same material. And the ears are goggles.
Luther
Luther - 9/26/2011, 1:07 PM
the answer to this is simple..no.

haha..they already stated that the ears are the goggles pushed up. They said that, EARLY ON, when people were complaining of "no ears". No we got ears, and people want to find ways to derogate the ears. haha..living, breathing, thinking, typing, comic reading jokes..

Either way, Catwoman still sucks. Bane too. They both look horrible.

And before someone feels hurt by my comment and decides to report me, I am just writing my personal opinion. I am entitled to it.
