did you know this guy did soft core porn....on the Cinema Snob's Softly from Cable, they did an episode called Animal Instinct and Pfister's name was the DP for it....this cements the whole idea of people in Hollywood doing something to make it in the industry...look at him now.....Nolan's DP slave

With 2011 and 2012 being so stacked with CBMs I wonder what will be left for 2013. Ironman 3, maybe, but what else? FF reboot? It may be a letdown year, unless it's all sequels from this year.

There would need to be a third person involved if he is indeed Nolan's "DP slave."

Nolan is one of the greatest filmmaker's of our time, but Wally is one of the best cinematographers around as well.

@mattattack- wow. "one of the greatest filmmaker's of our time"? ... geez. get off the mans junk. He's good, but some of you fanboys take this a little far.

@siddhant1138 and it's my opinion that some of the fans of chris nolan take this far... plus he was stating it as fact. otherwise he should've said IMO... in any case saying things like that and praising a decent action director as if he was the second coming gets a little irritating from time to time, so i apologize.

I believe you meant "affects" and not "effects"

@tehdude IMO is usually implied when people are stating their opinions, saying someone is s good director is usually an opinion, not a fact. anyway, sorry if this irritates you, but i agree with the opinion that nolan is one of the greatest directors of the modern era. and im not speaking from a fanboy perspective either (hard to prove, i know, but yeah...)

@siddhant1138 but it's such hyperbole to say that. the man has plenty of flaws when it comes to directing.

@Pyriel- totally agree with you.

Seriously, Witness, what's your big endgame scenario with all of these polls? Is this building up to some grand revelation for teh CBM world or do simply have nothing better to do?
siddhant1138
siddhant1138 - 3/3/2011, 5:27 AM
@tehdude he certainly does, but no director is without flaws imo. Personally i feel nolan's strengths outweigh them
