Of course it MIGHT be Catwoman, as it might well be anyone! But I noticed a very interesting piece of info from the article(read it here)
we posted was omitted and thought it was worth sharing. After revealing that Chris Nolan was on the lookout for his new female lead, Moviehole also said the following..
So who is Gotham’s new gal? Is it a replacement lover for Billionaire Bruce? Or is it – as my insider also suspects (but he can’t be sure; again, Nolan has the lid shut tight on this thing) – the oft-rumoured Catwoman? “Some of the beauties coming in to chat with Christopher, would suggest that”, we’re told.
This is all still just speculation based on the actresses in line for the role. If we knew who some of them were we could join in on that! But if the
info I received a while ago, which suggested Selina Kyle appeared in the early script notes, was accurate, we could well see Batman go cape to claw with Catwoman. This would create an interesting dynamic as the character could be used as both love interest and villain. Anyway, like I said, nothing particularly solid on this one way or the other just yet. More updates as we have em.
