Yesterday Stephen Amell announced on his Facebook page that the Arrow panel was going to be the "tip of the iceberg"  followed by telling us he had three big things on his schedual beside the Arrow panel. Well this caused the typical specualtion that Arrow would be finally connected to the DC cinematic universe, but along with that came the speculation that we'd see him in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and evetually in the Justice League as well. Well today Stephen Amell took to his Facebook page and has shot down that speculation. Here's what he said:

Stephen Amell proceeded to comment this on his post.

As an aside... The next time that I either do a video or an interview with a journalist that I like, I'll be happy to explain why this is the case. Short form - it's not a barometer on ability or the quality of genre - TV V Film, no pun intended. Everything here boils down to logistics. In any event... thank you for how much support you've showed me. But keep in mind, playing Arrow on television isn't a consolation prize. We play the definitive versions of our characters in the DC Universe.

So what do you guys think? Do you think he's taking a page out of every actor by denying the speculation? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below!

Hmmm I think he may just be throwing us off the idea and that he will make an appearance

What!, actors lying about roles they may or may not be involved in, its unheard off LoL

Not in Batman V Superman, but actually in Justice League? He said he wouldn't change his cover photo for a whole year and today he changed it to a poster that reads "Aim for Justice."

Plus all of the stuff he said in his last post seems pretty suspicious. Meeting new friends? Winning SDCC? Hmmm... Not saying Amell is the best possible Arrow, but if this is true it might mean Warner is stop being afraid and has started listening to fans.

1 - This story has already been posted

2 - This is EXACTLY what WB would want him to say if he WAS to be in BvS

he could be in the JL movie..Green Arrow is a "secondary" hero...but that Flash's Grant Austin..i don't know? Flash should be in a crowd with Supes, Bat, WW, and GL.

Grant Gustin could totally stand out in a Justice League film.Gal Gadot's gonna need a helluva costume to get noticed.

He's correct. It's all about logistics.
The timing, scheduling of films & tv show could conflict.
Amell is a good enough actor to portray GA in JL movie.
GA would be a smaller role so he could work the time out maybe.
Why couldn't he be two different versions of the same character?
Just give him a different outfit, grow the real facial hair & call him GREEN ARROW & he would work fine with other heroes.

Pisses me off too, Alexander. Kinda depressing that fans aren't even trying to make more accurate posters and such.

Good. Keep him on TV. Seems like it can complicated once you start adding TV characters to the cinematic universe.

lol...Whats crazy is that he shoots every ones wildest dreams down and then everyone still refuses to believe that WB/DC can't combine their TV and Movie universes together....

I know...would be awesome...especially after how great the last season of Arrow was and how amazing that Flash pilot was...

I'll give WB/DC credit....they're starting to get their shit together...but it's obvious some fans want to believe that they are on the same cohesive level that Marvel Studios is on...but it's just not true...yet.

Plus with aaaaall these characters in BvS:DoJ...I really hope Snyder can properly give them all proper introductions, back story, and development...cuz if not it'll be a cluster[frick]...

I know some might take this as me hating but i'm just telling what i see as the truth of reality. I really hope these next few DC/WB movies are Awesome on most levels...it'll be nice to see them introduce some new characters and get their feet on the ground.

@BigDannyMac @BatmanvSuperman No this was not posted. I saw it no where. I think you're confusing it with this: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/green_arrow/arrow/news/?a=102985

I always check if something has been posted already, saw this piece of news nowhere.

He could still win Comic Con.
Look, here's my theory:

In 2011, the Marvel Studios panel in Hall H introduced us to The Avengers, all one stage together for the first time. Completely "won" Comic Con. In 2013, WB/DC showed us the official logo and reveal of the sequel to Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. We then got the teaser for Age of Ultron and Marvel swept us off our feet again.
We're now in 2014. So instead of Marvel stealing the thunder once again, I think DC is going to go all out. I'm talking the first teaser for BvS, confirmation of Dwayne Johnson and Jason Mamoa's roles and our introduction to the our Justice League. Think about it. Why would they be trying to sign on so many people for superhero roles if the film doesn't come out until 2016. Plus, it's common knowledge that most of these League members won't be in BvS for more than what? 5 minutes? I think they'll show an after credits teaser for Justice League after BvS like in Captain America: The First Avenger.

And of course, I'm implying that Stephen Amell will be joining them on stage for the reveal.
