Stan Lee Sat and talked to Marvel’s Ryan “Agent M” Penagos about what he knows about Captain America: The Winter Soldier. "I haven’t heard about it yet. See, I think the problem is they’re probably figuring a cameo isn’t enough," 'Stan the Man' then added "How can we give Stan a supporting role…I’m patient.” Stan was then asked about his favorite Marvel moment, he took it back to when he and his publisher created Spider-Man. “I walked into our publisher, at the time, and I said ‘I’ve got this great idea for a new character. His name his Spider-Man, and he can stick to walls and swing on webs, and he’s a teenager, and he has a lot of personal problems.’ And my publisher said, ‘Stan that is the worst idea I have ever heard.’”

Would you like to see Stan Lee take on a role other than a cameo, and how do you feel and Marvel's 75th anniversary. Sound off below!

His cameos are quickly turning into gimmicks. He's obviously joking, but an entire role would be far too much and far too distracting.

No, I wouldn't.

I don't get it. Does he have a cameo in CA:TWS? It almost sounds like he doesn't.

He's losing it.

The Russos said in an interview with Collider 219 days ago:

“As we [made the film] we always go thorugh and go, ‘Alright, where are we going to put Stan in this? What makes the best sense for him? What’s the most interesting use of him–his iconography?” Russo said. “I think we got a pretty cool cameo for him.”

Come on people. He doesn't have much time left. I'd love to see him have a larger role in a Marvel movie before he leaves us.

Here's the thing... If they were to make him the humanoid embodiment of the cosmic force known as Eternity, and it was a cameo, then I think it would be awesome.

Nuff said true believers.

@nomis if you think about it they could do a whole agents of shield episode about it with him and then at the end he dies but he dies all smooth and boss-like and everyone's crying. They could then tie in all his cameos with the story as if he's been watching all these characters like a proud cosmic father. He could even mention that he's visited other earth's(universes) and meet other heroes similar to the ones in the mcu (Sony and fox universes).. Would be kind ofa cool way to send him off since he won't be around forever.

Stan Lee won't die anytime soon. Look at him, he's 90 years old and he still has enough energy to give interviews, go to premieres and Comic Cons and even cameo at movies!! That guy will reach 100+
