Hot off the heels of Paramount's full-length trailer debut for Marvel's Captain America The First Avenger movie, below, I've cut out high-res screengrabs from it. Capturing the memorable moments from "skinny" Steve Rogers' rejected enlistment - to his mighty shield sling, click the images to enlarge.



























































































While I wasn't excited from the sneak peeks, the trailer has got me pumped! Anyhow, Captain America: The First Avenger is set for theaters July 22, in 3D!

The one where Evans is all "hulked out eyes" is freaking classic! I litereally laughed out loud. Skrew the "I think it works" and "This is penicillin" THAT "hulk out eye" scene was the real lol bringer. :D

Music and CGI are flawless. Suit is nice, unsure of the headset to the masses though.

^ I was thinking the same thing. The shield looks like it would mess you up, if not kill you. Let's hope the superhuman strength, speed and agility are done well.

Anyone hating on the Skinny Steve CGI your all probably DC Fanboys. The CGI is 100x more better than Green Laterns. It looks pretty realistic.

I think Blonsky's was only a small dose. May be wrong though. Also, love everything about this movie except those shoulder pads. Still can't get over them. I will still be waiting in line though for that midnight showing.

@ThorMightyAvenger Blonksy did only take a small dose and it was some of the imperfect serum before it was perfected for cap.

The main problem they had though was that they didn't use the Vita-Rays.

Darkmatter I was wondering about how his physical attributes would be displayed in the film. Then I remembered Blonsky bookin across that field in highspeed, leaving the other soldiers in the dust. Some people might find that a bit over-the-top, but I would definitely warm up to this if his abilities were crazy like that.

Peggy Carter is not related in any way to Black Widow.
she is the aunt (or more likely great aunt) of Sharon Carter Agent of SHIELD who is Cap's girlfriend in the present.

The CGI looks horrible. His head is severely disproportional. You could tell they pasted his head on some wimpy guys body.....

@Thor: I'm glad you posted that short video on Blonsky and the Hulk. For a while now I have been meaning to point something out. Did anyone notice the "Cap" easter egg in that fight scene? Not the whole Blonsky on the serum bit, but the one where The Hulk picks up that piece of metal and wields it like a shield. The shape of it is very reminiscent of Caps first shield IMO.

@wadey: You missed it bro...I believe that was gunsmith making a pass at our Black Widow. Check out the first post.

Oh shut up hater, the CG looks great. Look up pictures of people that are small frail and thin and you'll see it is not unusual to look that way and its disproportionate not the word you made up.

wew, it looks good. I just found out that Red Skull is the skull of John Smichdt. I mean, I think he changed because of dangerous chemicals or burning like two face. i imagine when Steve Roger meet Tony Stark for the first time. Steve say: Tony, Do you have a relationship with Howard Stark? Tony: off course, he is my father. why? you know him? ..
