It's that time of the week again. It's time to take a look at the results for last Saturday Nights VS match up. Last weeks match up found two very close friends and Avengers team mates Captain America and The Black Panther squaring off against each other.

I wish I could tell you it was a close match but that would be beyond a stretching of the truth. What we ended up with was a first class beat down. With over 1,200 CBMers voting, you made it perfectly clear who you thought the winner would be.


I give you this weeks winner with over 3/4 of the votes.

There should be NO MORE mainstream hero's in these matchups....they degrade into popularity contests as is evidenced by the results of this poll.

Black Pather WINS this all day, everyday.

If this wasn't a popularity contest, it would at least have ended up closer..

This is a vote cause its all up for discussion.

I am trying to be realistic with my vote. Cap is the perfect HUMAN he can run 60 mph, he can lift 1600lbs. He never weakens or tires how can you beat someone like that? YOU CANT....unless your super human. Right now if Brock Lesnar would punch you in the face your done. Well Brock Can only bench about 480 to 520lbs! Getting hit by Cap would more then likely break every bone in anyones face.

You might as well have mad this poll cap vs punisher or cap vs anyone else who doesnt stand a chance!!!

Same reason HULK AND SUPERMAN WILL NEVER LOSE THEY ARE TO FAST AND TO STRONG AND CAN TAKE A BEATING AND KEEP COMING ALL THAT EQUALS ALWAYS WINNING

People misunderstand this. Its not that Cap would severely beat Black Panther. Its just that more times than not Cap would eek out the win. Cap is a master of fighting people more powerful and even smarter than him. He's also the master of sizing up opponents and figuring out their next moves. Panther is good at that stuff too, but not quite as good. Plus, since Cap has watched Panther from a leaders perspective, he should know Panthers strengths and weaknesses better than anybody.

Still, I could probably be convinced otherwise. I just need people to point out some stuff Panther has done that really demonstrates he could beat Cap.

Edit: And don't forget the shield. NEVER under estimate the shield.

I look at it like this: Captain America has been in combat since the 1940's, trained in military tactics, and more than likely got refresher courses and training once thawed out in modern times. You're talking about a soldier with 60+ years of combat experience over the Panther who has - How much?

Even without the super soldier serum in his veins, Rogers would still outclass the Panther due to his many years of experience alone. Not taking away from the Panther, but experience beats raw power any day.

I think the issue here is not if cap will win or not, I place it at 50-50

But the fact a lot of people hee don't know what the Panther can do.

The Panther is Cap+Reed+Daredevil.
Physicall Caps equal only his physicality comes from a magical herb.
As Smart as Reed Richards.
And Dare Devil's senses.

Cap and Black Panther would be stalemate if they fight each other.

Black Panther is smarter than Cap. T'Challa is one of the eight smartest people on Earth along side Reed Richards, Victor von Doom, Henry Pym, Hank McCoy, Bruce Banner, Anthony Stark and Amadeus Cho.

Black Panther was groomed to be a warrior from birth he is considered to be one of the best martial artists/hand to hand fighter to have ever walked on the Earth.

Black Panther is a master tactician and strategist. he was taught by his father to be always think two steps ahead of his enemies and three steps ahead of his friends.

"And don't forget the shield. NEVER under estimate the shield."

dont under estimate Black Panther costume cause its made of Vibranium mesh the shield would bounch right off :D

oh, its close. I don't think Panthers technical intelligence ensures that he has better tactical intelligence than Cap, but maybe. I'm still gonna say Cap's raw experience top's T'Challa's training, but there both very good. Also, you can't hit someone with a costume, not like a shield.

I'd like to see a list of who Cap's beat and who Panther's beat. And been beaten by, I suppose.

The shield is still the more versatile weapon, I think. Plus, I think Cap has broken Red Skulls jaw before, just before you could show it so graphically. Besides, raw strength does not a winner make. Again, I'm not saying it not close. It might be Cap wins 6 out of 10, statistically.
