Now, we all know how hit-and-miss IMDb are when it comes to casting news (remember the amount of actors they had listed to play Captain America at one point or the other late last year?) especially as anyone can edit the information about a movies cast but I figured it was worth letting you guys know about this. According to them, RED stars Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren will be in the movie as will Kick-Ass and Ghost Rider actor Nicolas Cage! Here is a screenshot from the site's page:

Could these three award-winning, box-office draws really be part of the already stellar cast in what is sure to be one of the biggest films of next summer? It's certaintly a possibility that Marvel would give them cameo roles but is it realistic to think they would include them when Captain America already has a faily large cast?

After IMDb reported last week that Union Jack has been cast in the movie, hopefully Marvel Studios will confirm or debunk this news in the coming weeks now that filming is in full swing! More to the point, which characters could the three actors be playing!? Speculate and share your thoughts about this in the usual place!

Oh I was on CA:TFA page on IMDB other day and saw Bruce Willis name on that. I was like WTF? lol hope Nicolas Cage is not on that :) Dont let him close to any other superhero movie lol.

yeah.. i'd say no to that... however it would be nice if Cage made a cameo as ghost rider somehow... perhaps observing the goings on and building anticipation for GR2..

Hah! LEEE & Josh: Wouldn't it be a kicker if Marvel chose to handle Nick Fury like 007, Zorro or Christopher Chance?

Willis could be WW2 Nick Fury who gets hurt and is dying. The title would then be passed on to someone else. He is the worlds greatest spy after all. There could be 2 or 3 Nick Fury's by the time we get to the present day.

This would be an easier explanation than saying Nick Fury has a greatly extended life span.

LEEE@ flames@ I thought it'd be funny if they made the sam jackson Fury a skrull and the real (original, white) fury will show up to stop him. The twist being that fury himself is so badass that the skrulls couldn't even find a picture of him so they couldn't shape-shift into his form. they just heard about how badass he was and came up with the most badass looking, acting guy they could think of - sam jackson

Could Mirren play a contemporary Peggy Carter?? Possibly - if they age her up quite a bit. Would make quite a powerful scene??

Willis or Cage could even play his son??? Would be weird but also kinda cool.

so to get idea of what look to go for,he watched a couple of dvds.

escape from new york & pulp fiction,couldn't decide what look to go far,he decided to combine to of his favs.

I just had a thought...What if SLJ has been STANDING IN for Nick Fury? What if Sam was really Gabriel Jones,a member of Fury's Howling Commandos? I know,never happen,but you take the aspect of Fury going underground during the Secret Invasion and marry it to what they're trying to accomplish in the Marvel Movieverse and it's an intriguing idea,at least to me...It appeals to my fanboy sensibilities...
