Everytime any female actress does anything remotely descent, we get some article "ActressName to play Captain Marvel?".

Natalie Dormer after Hunger Games, Charlize Theron after Mad Max, and now Bryce Howard before Jurrasic Park. Cool, I can name random actresses that have been in stuff too, lol.

She's a hugely underrated actress,
She appears in tons of movies here and there but doesn't, I feel, get the recognition she deserves.

She has suchc a strong presence I could see her as Medusa to be honest.

Sounds good to me, I like her as an actress, maybe as Medusa works even better, but either would be cool. I've suggested Caitlin Gerard or Sophia Bush for Carol Danvers in past. It seems though they might want a big name actress for the part although there really aren't very many of those.

Not really a shock when I hear of a new actor or actress expressing a desire to star in a Marvel Studios film and it's not for any stupid marvel vs dc reason. Simply put Marvel have at this point firmly established themselves as career launchers. Chris Evans is taking on a ton of independent film roles now, Chris Hemsworth went from unknown to starring in Ron Howard movies, Chris Pratt became a super star overnight, Johansson may be the most in demand woman in Hollywood right now. Simply put there is no better way at the moment to give your career a kickstart than to star in a marvel movie. Now DC could easily catch up but they currently haven't launched any careers so marvel is the front runner in that regard.

Chastain would be a fantastic Medusa but I'm warming up to the idea of Chastain as Mera now.
I think Dagger is supposed to be a lot younger than Bryce, like early 20's.
