While we all (im)patiently wait for the first Avengers 4 trailer, Marvel Studios has decided to remind fans that we'll be seeing Carol Danvers take to the skies in her own solo adventure first.

The official Captain Marvel Twitter account has shared the following motion poster, which serves as a heads-up that the movie is now 100 days away from hitting theaters.

The image of Brie Larson's mega-powerful heroine is one we've already seen on the theatrical one-sheet, but the glistening glimpse of her arms "powering up" is a cool little addition.

Set in 1995, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy's mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds.

Captain Marvel flies into theaters on March 8, 2019.

I really love those red and blue colors together. I can't wait to see how this turns out as well as how they bring her to present time.

I’m excited to see this, but the trailer did absolutely nothing for me. The second one definitely needs to be better. And SMILE... USE YOUR GIFT BRIE.
