So its been a while we heard any progress on this movie, last news we had was that Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve were writting and that the movie was pushed to 2019, but we havent had any news on who will direct the movie nor who will play Carol Danvers. , looks like we dont have to wait that much longer as Kevin Feige has revealed when we may get news on the movie "I think we’ll be announcing a filmmaker in the next month or two, and probably some cast members later in the summer, at the end of the summer"
Its quite possible we may get some announcements in San Diego Comic Con if Marvel Studios attends this year. additionally, Kevin Feige confirmed they have plans for more female led movies, but dont expect them till 2020 at least "Yes, for sure, I think [Black] Widow at some point would be great," he teases. "But when you start talking about things that are now four/five years away…sometimes we do that. Dr. Strange has been talked about for ten years. But we’re focused on the next nine movies, which is a lot, between now and 2019."
