THE MARVELS: New Leak Confirms Recent Rumors About Plans For An Unmissable Cameo Appearance - SPOILERS

Press notes for The Marvels have reportedly confirmed plans for a must-see cameo in the upcoming Captain Marvel sequel, but does Marvel Studios plan on teasing that in one final trailer for the movie?

In recent weeks, there have been rumblings about The Marvels featuring at least one huge Multiversal cameo which sets the stage for the MCU's future. It seems many have incorrectly dismissed the Captain Marvel sequel as a throwaway team-up, and if the rumours are true, it could be a crucial prelude to Deadpool 3 and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty

It's not hard to find details on this scene if you go hunting, but press notes shared by Disney may have "officially" let the cat Flerken out of the bag.

We won't be sharing those here, though confirmation of this supposed cameo reportedly comes from a list of the movie's credits. Two pieces of music from two separate past Marvel movies are listed, setting the stage for what sounds like a must-see moment.

If you're curious to learn more, you can do so by clicking here. We'd recommend taking this with a pinch of salt for now just in case the rumour mill is churning out nonsense on this occasion, but if you weren't already excited for The Marvels...well, you might have reason to be now!

Surprisingly, there are even rumblings online that Marvel Studios will release one final trailer for the movie during tonight's Monday Night Football game. That's not unusual, but we're hearing it's going to feature a glimpse or tease of this scene in a last-ditch effort to turn around The Marvels' box office prospects.

We also have this latest update:

The plot thickens, eh? Check out a new promo for The Marvels below and keep checking back here for updates.

In The Marvels, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as "The Marvels."

The movie stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton and Park Seo-joon.

The Marvels is currently set to arrive in theaters on November 10.

They should have used the opportunity to introduce the Phoenix Force for a payoff down the road. It seems like a missed opportunity that would have put butts in seats.

@Forthas - Fox made sure that most of the audience are sick and tired of the Phoenix

Marvel needs the leak to put butts in the theaters. Sad.

@vectorsigma - Who the F will even want to go and see this shit because of Grammer's Beast? It's not even the one who was featured in Fox's highest-grossing X-Men movie (minus blink-and-you'll-miss cameo from Grammer as an older Beast).

''Oh, look, it's Beast; everyone's favorite X-Men from everyone's favorite X-Men movie directed by everyone's favorite Brett Ratner.''

@vectorsigma - They put a Tony Stark cameo in The Incredible Hulk trailer and he was just in the post credit scene.

@vectorsigma - This reminds me of Cavil in Black Adam which also “mysteriously leaked” early. It’ll probably pay off the same way too.

Tacked on an after credits scene in reshoots to try & get people to go see this movie.

Okayyyyy....

Starfox, Pip the Troll, Hercules, Blade..... The MCU's building inventory of teased characters that will probably go nowhere. I am still wondering when the Black Knight will pop up. ugh.

@DocSpock - considering the after credits for eternals had him meeting blade, i assume he will be in blade unless that has also changed. If it has changed, then that bodes a problem unless they decide to announce a marvel knights movie with blade, moon knight, and others

I hope all that happens, but though I love the MCU, I am getting pessimistic.

Because it is. If you're trying to sell your movie on a pointless cameo appearance from a character in now-dead FoxVerse, who was never even fan-favorite, yes, you are correctly dismissed as that. Because a movie has to stand on its own first. If it can't and it needs post-credit scenes to garner interest, chances are it [frick]ING SUCKS ASS.

A post credit scene won't put me in a seat. This movie seems like a waste of my hard earned cash and it features Brie Larson and I have no interest in a nobody character like Ms.Marvel.

The post credit scene should have featured a recast Rogue taking out Captain Marvel.

@PatientXero - Like most of phase 4 and 5.

Haven't seen....

Wakanda Forever
Ant-Man 3:Quantumania
Ms.Marvel
She-Hulk (Just 1 episode)
Secret Invasion (Just 3 episodes)

And you can add The Marvels because I won't be watching that either.

@marvel72 - I haven’t seen anything since Endgame, I don’t think. Wanted to get into Loki, but never had the time. I’m interested in Deadpool 3, and that may lead to interest in secret wars

I could have missed everything accept for...

WandaVision
Spider-Man:Far From Home
Spider-Man:No Way Home
Doctor Strange And The MultiVerse Of Madness
HistoryofMatt
HistoryofMatt - 11/6/2023, 11:49 AM
@PatientXero - Far From Home was awful. Taking Spider-Man out of New York was an idiotic decision and they have Peter do so many stupid things for "reasons." Terrible Writing.

No Way Home is legitimately great. A lot of "weepy" moments. That and Guardians 3 are the only good movies they've made since Endgame.

Everything else is not.

WandaVision was pretty good until the finale in which you find out that Wanda is an insane villain who has been holding 3500 people hostage, literally psychologically torturing them, because she can't deal with her own grief, but the idiot character in this Marvels movie tries to make it out like WANDA is the victim. Oh, and the "Evil White Man in Power" is only evil in that the writers say he is. Every single one of his actions are actually heroic as he tries to rescue the people Wanda are holding hostage.

The first couple of episodes of the first season of Loki were okay, but then it went off the rails in the third episode and never recovered.

Captain Falcon was terrible. Doctor Strange 2 could not be saved by Sam Raimi. She-Hulk is one of the worst television shows ever made. Hawkeye was yet another bait-and-switch.

MCU Phase 4 and 5 have been, on the whole, bad. Watch No Way Home and Guardians 3 as they make a very nice coda to Endgame. You can give up on the MCU after Guardians 3.

Ok, he really is overselling this "spoiler" leak, so I'm gonna do it here.

He's saying they're including the themes from xmen and x2 in the credits. I mean, it might tie into a cool post credits scene, but nothing here mentions anything about the scene itself. Just the music cues.

This just comes across as a way to get us hyped for the movie because they know we aren't hyped for the movie itself. Pretty similar to how people mainly went to see captain marvel for endgame context, except this time all signs point to it not helping.

@marvel72 - I imagine it's just confirming someone random is a mutant. Hence why they're hyping up the music cue like they did with Ms marvel instead of talking about an actual cameo.
