We might be seeing who will play Captain Marvel in the next few days. Instead of using logic to speculate who it will it be, let's just fancast in our dreams so they can be horribly destroyed. Life is grand.

Not bad choices but that's only 4! You're missing one! Ahhhhhhhhhh! ANARCHY!!!!

@GliderMan She's and adequate one. She's not my top pick but if she got the role, it wouldn't really bother me.

@Reasonnnn Nice choice but it would probably be hard for her to commit to Game of Thrones as well as those ridiculously large Marvel Studios contracts.

Katee Sackhoff is, hands down - the absolute gem for this role.
Marvel could do less without her.. knock it out the park with her.

Top 4:

- Yvonne Strahovski
- Katheryn Winnick
- Margot Robbie (maybe not since she is with DC now)
- Alice Eve

I will be delighted with any of those.

I love Blunt, but I think she will be a better Jessica Drew.
I have a feeling that Marvel will go for J-Law, thoug.

so 5 is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too young
4, the chick from Chuck, way to sell someone by referring to them as not a great fighter and frail.
3. YAS!
2. I'm on the fence with Sackoff, only because I don't want just another Starbuck rehash.
1. Tatianna is AMAZING but she really isn't Captain Marvel material. She is too short and diminutive. I'd rather see her play someone like Jessica Drew.

Emily Blunt or bust.

And @GliderMan...

6-7 yrs ago Sackoff would have been perfect, but imo she is too old now, especially considering how far we still are from the movie. Chloe is probably too young and too short. Blunt would be ok, Natalie Dormer would probably be about perfect. The girl from Orphan Black is an amazing actress, but not quite seeing that. Quite frankly, I wish they had saved Paliki for that role instead of using her for Mockingbird, unless they eventually put her in movies. I can't see Emma Watson in the role, just because I can't see her as a blonde. No, for me Dormer is probably the first choice. And, as others have pointed out, they could easily say that she is a descendant of the woman who kissed Steve Rogers in TFA.

Knowing Marvel and how they do things they tend to do things in the proper order for film creation. Which means there is a right way to make a film based on source. You cast last, you get a writer to make the script you get a director that order you can switch and then you begin casting after the producers and writers and director decide on an idea of what they want. If they cast her, then my guess is Whedon or Favreau are directing Captain Marvel. If it's favreau it will be emily blunt. If it's Whedon there's a young actress we haven't thought of.

Since Margot Robbie is no longer an option, Amber Heard is my choice.

Emily Blunt, Kathryn Winnick or Jennifer Lawrence please, and maybe Amber Heard. They have shown to be good actresses and that they can kick ass

After her stale performances as Mystique, you still want Jennifer Lawrence in a CBM?

Completely agree. Also she seems to be buying into the snobby Hollywood trend of dissing super hero films. She says she's done with mystique after X-men apocalypse. I say good riddance.

Yeaaah, plus she was in Captain America so it would be weird if they cast her, even if they say that Danvers is a descendant of her.

Good choices other than Chloe. She's not womanly enough...yet.

I'm also glad you weren't afraid to pick someone who isn't blonde!

Entertaining in all.

Bravo.
