Captain Marvel takes place 23 years ago in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's timeline and that means we not only got to meet a younger Nick Fury but also Guardians of the Galaxy villains Ronan the Accuser and Korath.
Neither of them ended up sharing the screen but there's clearly more story to be told as we need to see how Korath sustained that head injury (it may have been during that fight with Carol Danvers) and Ronan's descent into villainy after the Kree seemingly gave up targeting the Skrulls and went after the Nova Corps on Xandar instead.
Now, this new batch of concept art from
Captain Marvel provides some very cool alternate takes on both characters as we see some vastly different designs and those which are comic accurate.
