Written by J. Michael Straczynski & drawn by Shane Davis, here is the first look of Vol.2. Superman bloodied & beaten but by whom? well a classic villain of the Superman mythos: PARASITE!



For those that don't know about Parasite, here's a quick summary of his powers:
Parasite has the ability to temporarily absorb the energy, knowledge, super-powers & virtually any other energy form of another being by touch,and use it making him a formidable foe for the Man of Steel.

Oh Dc stop releasing Earth One Comic's in volumes. Start releasing them in individual issues.

I saw a whole bunch of other pages from Book 2 when I met Davis at Fan Expo Toronto. He's a pretty cool guy. He showed me how Parasite grows and at first he's a really scrawny thing. There's one image of Supes blasting heat vision while flying and looking pissed that is amazing. I can't wait to see it colored.

I don't really see the point of Earth one now that DC's done there relaunch. They have to give us a reason for why this book exists.

Volume 1 wasn't good. He's Superboy! It just wasn't a better take on ideas already done elsewhere.
