I like both Barry and Wally, but I prefer Barry. I don't know why. Also, it seems like some people think Barry came back with the New 52...Weird.

Also, I got Flash: Move Forward (Volume 1 of New 52) and I just love it. I also have #0 and I liked that, too. I can't wait to read more.

As ManOfSuperguy points out, Wonder Woman By Brian Azzarello is fantastic. Azzarello brings his VERTIGO based charm to Wonder Woman. It is like:

100 Bullets + Sandman + Fables = Wonder Woman (New 52)

If you have never been able to get into Wonder Woman or want another title to read, try Wonder Woman. It's surprisingly good, and it's hard to put down.

Another title, that is shockingly flawless is Animal Man by Jeff Lemire. It's better than Scott Snyder's BATMAN, and Scott Snyder's BATMAN is epic. It's in a league of it's own. Again, It has a VERTIGO (mature) influence that can not be denied like WONDER WOMAN; furthermore, the story grips you from the first issue and it doesn't let you go. Even if you can't care less about Animal Man as a character, the writing is amazing.

If you pick up one DC title, make it Animal Man.

Poor Flash. For such a great hero he has the worst villian roster in any comic book. I mean his arch nemesis is a freakin psychic gorilla and the only decent rogue he has is pretty much just an evil version of him (Zoom!)

Since they are starting anew, so to speak, they should come up with new good characters instead of trowling the cesspool that is his old gallery.

All I know about Flash's villains is from the DCAU Justice League show. I loved Powers Boothe's Grodd! Also the one episode with Mirror Master, Captain Boomerang, Captain Cold and Mark Hamill as the Trickster was really nice.

Not really sure how well they'd translate to the big screen, though...

Froggy- What, Dr. Egghead's not an iconic villian? ;) That is true I think most heroes are pretty lacking in the villian department not because they dont have great villians its just nobody really knows about them. I remember reading a lot of old Fantastic Four and Green Lantern comics and seeing some cool villians that just never got a chance.

Its also not surprising that the most popular comic characters have the 'best' villians like Spiderman, Batman, X-Men and even Superman. I think good rogues help define a character.

As for Spiderman that is true too but, honestly, I think theres a bit of a difference. Flash's villians, for the most part, are common thugs in costums only out to make money or control the world. Under Stan Lee Spidey's villians were imbued with a lot more personality and dramatic need, know what I mean?

The reason why Spider-Man villain resonate with readers and general audience is because they are all the opposite of Peter Parker. After the murder of Uncle Ben, Peter chose to use his powers to protect others and make sure they never experience the pain he feels. His enemies got their powers in the similar circumstances that Peter did, by accident. While Peter decided to stop using his powers for selfish purposes and help others, the villains felt that they had been cheated or betrayed and decided to use their newfound abilities for personal benefit. They are all reflections of what Peter could have become.

I think Flash's Rogues are pretty good. They're distinguished by the relationship they have with each other and Flash.

Manapul has actually been doing a great job with the rogues... if you you're not reading it and you still think his rogues are kind of "meh" then pick this title up and you'll completely change your mind
