COMICS: Things Got Even Weirder In DOOMSDAY CLOCK #2 As [SPOILER] Made An Unexpected Return
Thought that Watchmen sequel Doomsday Clock couldn't get any more shocking? Well, the latest issue of the series featured a surprise which is sure to change the DC Universe in a major way...
Today's issue of Doomsday Clock featured plenty of big surprises, including the fact that Dr. Manhattan may, in fact, be in hiding in the DC Universe as a superhero. That was a point made by Ozymandias after he and the new Rorschach entered that world for the first time, noting that it's years ahead of their world in some ways and behind it in others. However, things then took an unexpected turn.
Seeking out one of the world's smartest men, Ozymandias finally met Lex Luthor but the Superman villain was promptly gunned down after getting between an unknown shooter and Adrian Veidt.
Moments later, we learned that the shooter is actually The Comedian and that he's somehow been resurrected! As you may recall, he was actually killed by Ozymandias in the opening pages of Watchmen after learning what he had planned for the world and it seems Dr. Manhattan has been very busy indeed.
