A day ago, comic book fans were none too happy to hear that Tim Drake's origin would be drastically changed and that he never used the title "Robin". Scott Lobdell, the writer for Teen Titans, has clarified via Twitter that his previous statement in San Diego Comic Con regarding Tim Drake's history as Robin (or lack of) are false!
So now that it is clear that Tim Drake was Batman's sidekick for a while, it will be interesting to see how Tim's origin is handled in the upcoming
Teen Titans #0. The phrase "of several years" also creates a puzzling dilemma in terms of how Batman could have trained so many sidekicks in such little time. If Batman has only been active for 5 years, and Tim Drake was Robin for "several years", then how much time does that leave for Dick or Jason?
