None of this stuff matters. If you are such a big Tim Drake fan then why should this change? Why do they need to explain what happened during things like Nightfall? The focus is on the future, not what happened in the past. Tim was still Tim in those stories. If you read that story or others and enjoyed it, then that is all that matters. Nothing DC does now can change that. Only you can allow your feelings about that to change. They didn't ruin those events or what came before. Those comics and stories still exist. This is a reboot, things are being changed. Characters are being changed. Some of the things you guys are saying aren't exactly accurate. They have already said that Batman has been around longer than the others anyway. Even if you look at the first Justice League issues which took place five years in the past, everyone except for Cyborg is already a hero. Hal is already Green Lantern, Barry is already Flash and there is history between them. Obviously they have been around longer than when that story begins. Just seems like you guys want to hate and complain about things without actually reading them. Read the story about Tim Drake and then decide if it is good and makes sense or not. Read Aquaman #0 and then you will know if it goes against the past year. You are just jumping to conclusions here without actually reading the issues. Too many people just jump on the hate train without actually reading or watching what it is they are hating on.

@ Barnaclepete

"Too many people just jump on the hate train without actually reading or watching what it is they are hating on."

This times 100.

Something that drives me crazy about a lot of people on this site are how many people go into articles about comics, then make all these idiotic comments, knowing full well they don't read the comics. And their comments PROVE they don't read them because they wreak of ignorance.

Its really frustrating.

@CornDog . . Thanks. I cant stand it. Too many people pass judgement on something before seeing anything. Best example I can think of being X-Men Firat Clasa. Everyone flipped some quick on that one.
@Hybrid . . .My point is . . Why does it matter? Sure he was Robin all that time, but it's not like DC is erasing all those comics from existing. If you read them and liked them, that's all that should matter. It's not like he is Robin now anyway. It's just like all these people complaining about how George Lucas raped their childhood. He didn't do anything to their childhood and Dc didn't do anything to ruin your feelings or history with this character. Yes, it was a blunder on their part though with Tim already being referred to as a past Robin, but that doesn't ruin his character either.

I guess the best advice I can offer is to read the comics pre-52.

I don't like it either, not just the whole Tim Drake thing - but that these stories don't have a single bit of relevance to the characters.

Also, what happened to Cassandra Cain? I haven't read comics in a while, since 2008 in fact, but I do pick up trades if they're particularly awesome sounding.

And where is the Martian Manhunter in the new 52? I carry the torch for that guy, no pun intended.

I just noticed that in the first issue of the New Teen Titans Tim Drake actually states that he use to be Robin "The Wonder". His actual words.

Actually not only does he say that but at one point kid flash needs a new costume and he borrows one from tim drakes closet. In which this outfit is Tim Drakes robin outfit but instead of the R it has the lightning logo.

Ok. Tim Drake not being Robin is dumb, but killing Damion! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! He's been the most complex Robin EVER! he was raised to kill by the league of assassins and now that he's become Robin he has to change the way he thinks. He's stated that he's trying to change and grow to fill his fathers shoes because that's what he really wants to do. He's had more training then all the Robin's put together and probably the one that is most similar to Batman. you guys are crazy to say to get ride of such a character that could be something so awesome in the future!

Oh and the comic that you guys talk about when he trash talks Martha and Tomas Wayne if you actually finish Damion apologizes for disgracing their memory by the end. Read more then one comic a few months and you might realize how good the character is and some of the places they are going with the titles.
