Ryan Penagos, better known as Agent M, recently confirmed on his twitter account that Benedict Cumberbatch had recently taken a tour of Marvel HQ. It potentially could of been for interviews with Marvel.com, but the visiting of the studio was curious nonetheless as online interviews could have just as easly taken place on the phone as opposed to a full-out tour.

Any opinions on who he could potentailly portray in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

if Benedict Cumberbatch is casted to star in a Marvel Studio movie that mean he would be the 2nd person who star in Star trek and been casted to play a Marvel character. the 1st person was chris hemsworth LOL

In fairness, there's also one other Marvel Studios/NuTrek connection... only it was cast in the other order.

The Captain who Hemsworth replaced in NuTrek was also Raza (the "Ten Rings" figurehead) in Iron Man.

thats true forgot about him lol. then that mean anyone who stars in the new Star Trek movie going to end up been casted in a Marvel Studio movie lol.

oh wait heres another thing actor Joseph Gatt who starred in Marvel Studios Thor as a Frost Giant. is been casted in the new sequel of Star Trek. geez hollywood is getting to predictable with casting.

No doubt about it... DR. STEPHEN STRANGE... and he will be kick ass in the role! Imagine Cumberbatch, RDJ, Jackson, Hemsworth, Evans, Ruffalo and God-knows-who else they end up casting... teaming up to take on Thanos! God, I wish Marvel Studios could get the rights to their other characters back!!!
