The Heroic Age is Marvel returning to a more glorious day in comics where Heroes are fighting the villains and saving the day. We have been getting tons of teaser and promo images leading up to this. Most of them have the saying "I'm a ______ Avenger". We have Avengers, Secret Avengers, New Avengers, and Avengers Academy. Also we have the mysterious, questionable, and early controversial "We are X-men" having people who aren't mutants joining the X-men. So it got me thinking, What are other things we are looking forward to in the coming Heroic Age. Here I'm gonna list not the top 10, but 10 things to think about in the coming age. Let's begin

#10) O.M.I.T.- this is a mystery event teased by Joe Quesada that I have seen on CBR.com. So what do they mean. A few said its One Moment In Time, which may be a sequel to One More Day, hopefully undoing the horrors of this painful mistake.

#9) Magic Avengers?- We been getting so many new Avenger titles, the only group of heroes that haven't gotten a group are those in the magical category. Doctor Voodoo was a let down and most of the time mage characters are part of a team and most of the time are downplayed. So could we at some point get a group designated to protect the world from mystical and otherworldly.

#8) The Loki Clone- In the end of Thor #606, Dr. Doom has somehow gathered a sample of Loki in a small vial and was overlooking an operating table with what appears to be a failed clone of the Norse God. Also Osborn did say in Siege #3 that Loki was dead, although he said everyone was dead now that the Void has been unleashed.

#7) Galactic threat- With Nova joining the Secret Avengers will him being part of it reintroduce galactic threats to earth. Could we see Thanos returning seeking the Infinity Gauntlet Galactus making a glorious comeback.

#6) Asgard rebuilt- With the teaser image of Pasqual Ferry on Thor #611(which looks awesome), has a very futuristic look and feel. In the back there are towers and they had a futuristic look to them. Could Asgard have been rebuilt with the help of Stark?

#5) Smaller event comics- Today most event comics seem to take up much of the entire universe of the comic companies. Every character has some ties to the larger scheme of things. Could we see something similar to Secret Wars where it focuses on a few select characters, rather than Marvel as a whole.

#4) The Beyonder- the last known whereabouts of this character was he was somewhere in New York, hiding his power from the Illuminati group of Marvel. Will his resurgence take place in one of the Avenger titles?

#3) Norman Osborn- we see at the end of Siege #3 that Norman has a monstrous face similar to the green goblin(like the mask has fused to his face) and his Iron Patriot armor disabled and dismantled. Will he return to the role of Green Goblin or will he be out of the picture for awhile.

#2) The Sentry- We can pretty much tell that Siege #4 will be an all out brawl between the heroes and the void. However, could some fragment of the Sentry's energy still remain at the end and be transfered to another person or he be reformed into a new person? Will this be Bobs glorious ending or the start of something new?

and the #1 question to ponder in the Heroic Age is

#1) The Hulk- the Hulk has become the most isolated character in Marvel History recently. He has been sent to an alien planet because any side he takes during Civil War would make it one sided, His new home world was blown up by a nuke, He waged War on Earth, had a Fall of Hulks and now a World War Hulks event coming up. He's a hero to some and a villain to others. He has lead some many and has fought the greatest battles. So could there be a chance of the Hulk of rejoining the team that he joined many decades ago?

And there you have 10 things that I thought about and I'm sure most of you have answers and theories. SO begin the discussion below. Til next time, BlackAirs out!!!

Wishful thinking on my part perhaps...

@BlackAirs: Actually that's probably a better idea. :)

@ Keith, it seems better to have him separate from the Marvel Universe. Any suggestions on who should write the new series, now that they acquired him?

@BlackAirs: Neil Gaiman. No other possible option. He has to finish the story...

Gaiman's always said it should be at Marvel anyway, and he has a good relationship with them, so I don't see any reason why it shouldn't happen.

At odds? Not as far as I know.

He said in an interview last summer:

"I’m obviously delighted that Marvel have the rights, and that Mick Anglo, who is in his mid-90s, will be seeing some profit from this thing that he created … and that the material will come back into print. Marvel would like to, I’m sure, reprint the work from me and Mark Buckingham, the stuff that we control the rights to, and I know we would very much like to finish the story that we set out to do – 20, 21 years ago"

BlackAirs@ you continue to be one of my favorite content posters on this site!

9) i was hoping for a "cosmic" avengers team that would mix the mystical and cosmic universes. having like silver sufer and beta ray bill and nova but with nova on the secret avengers - that'll do for me!

7) i've been ready for an infinity gauntlet sequel forever! im so down. and too your second point i only have two words - ZOMBIE GALACTUS!

6) Asgard rebuilt by stark? hmmmm... i'll have to go look at the teaser again. that is interesting.

3) full-on Green Goblin! give it to me - i want it.

and the best point - which is number one for a reason...

1) THE HULK!!!!!

hell yes! i want hulk back in the fold. but i [frick]in hate when they erase everything good about a character. i [frick]ing hate loeb. The Hulk became an awesome, intelligent, STRONGER character coming out of Planet Hulk and WWH - and what does loeb go and do with all of this new found awesomeness? he erases it. he turns hulk back into the dumb monster... so stupid. i want the hulk back, with his "green scar" personallity and i want him on the avengers. shit - if he did go back to "green scar" he'd be capable of LEADING the avengers. that was such a cool character and too see hulk be a true king and leader was awesome.

i can't believe the same man who wrote batman: hush and the long halloween and contributes to my favorite show LOST wrote this garbage hulk shit...
