Marvel Comics Teasing Something Huge

Marvel Comics Teasing Something Huge

I was reading through IGN's Marvel E3 days preview article, which focuses on upcoming comics. I for one am interested in the new Dark Reign Sinister Spider-Man #1. Which I will talk about more in another post. However, as I moved through the article I came across this picture.

This Image is the latest teaser image from Marvel. It would appear that it is teasing a lot. With the only two things we know is that it involves the Iron Patriot and one of the targets are lost. What could this really be hinting at? The heroes that are shown on the screen that Osborn is looking at are The Hulk, The Punisher, Nick Fury, Spider-Man, Cyclops, Daredevil and Wolverine. You have to excuse me, I am still relatively new to comics and do not recognize the character with the black mask and the dude with the goatee. If the new story arch is Osborn sending teams of villains to hunt down heroes, that may be one of the coolest story lines of all time. The concept alone is amazing. I am stoked to find out what this is about in September. Let me know what you think.

alright ever herd of the comic book civil war? i think it might be that ive been expecting them to make a movie out of that comic for a while now. pretty much what happens is that the government sais that the superheroes need to reveal themselfs to the world one things leads to another and the superheroes end up splitting apart and fighting it out hence the title civil war

The guy with the goatee is probably Tony Stark and that's not the Hulk it's Skaar, son of the Hulk.

I'm willing to bet this is the teaser for the next big crossover event. As far as the "target lost" slot, that intrigues me. Captain America? Hmmmmm.

the guy with the goatee is one of Fury's secret warriors-Hellfire, the grandson of the phantom rider.

i hope that if it is gonna be osborn vs the marvel universe then it will be Spider-Man who brings him down! Spider-Man didnt have a big enough part in secret invasion and im fed up of Bendis writing him like the ultimate pansy version in new avengers. he needs a bigger and more important place in the MU!

i was thinking the target lost could be Tony Stark, Osborn has been after him for a while and maybe Tony finally got of his trail and is planning something to use against Osborn.

I'm with DennisW22, it has to be Stark who is the 'Target Lost'

Good call on Hellfire there joshw24. I'm thinking that Iron Man and Namor are in on something together and that something would be that Cap. Think about it. Who were the last two people with Cap's body? Stark and Subby.
