Here's Captain America's secret plan for gaining control of the Earth and placing it under Hydra rule:

Stage One: Exile Earth’s Most Powerful Heroes Behind a Planetary Defense Shield.
Stage Two: Trap the Rest of Earth’s Defenders Within a Darkforce Shroud in Manhattan.
Stage Three: Dispense of Anyone who Gets in the Way.

Said writer Nick Spencer on the series, "If you believe that great stories come out of great adversity being presented to characters, This really will test the Marvel heroes in a way that they never have before. Not just in terms of the danger they are in, but just the crushing blow its dealt to their idealism, to their belief systems – there is a lot that they are being put through here."

Secret Empire #0 and Secret Empire #1 are in stores now.  Secret Empire #2 arrives May 17.

For a split second I thought this was a trailer for one of the mcu untitled projects, and got really excited.

Side Note: Just finished the 7th issue of DK3, not as good as I expected

@ConnorHawkeye -
DK III is pretty underwhelming.
It sure as hell can't hold a candle to the first 2 volumes, but this was hardly average imho.
There's a twist near the end of the maxi that...well it was a real game changer, one that i always wanted to read.
Either in a TDK world or Batman Beyond.

Been pretty damn good run so far. Comic fans need to get over the stigma of the status quo being upset. It always goes back to the norm anyways, no point in losing your mind over it.

@knocturnalzen10 -
I don't know if he will use it, but the fact that he was able to wield it is pure bs.
I mean why him but not Odinson?
I swear this smells like retcon to me.
They either changed the nature of Mjolnir or they don't know how the f*ck it actually works.
I mean, i'm not that big of an expert either, but c'mon...

The explanation given by Aaron in "Unworthy Thor" was also not that convincing.
Why should Odinson believe what Fury's words?
Forget that, why should the hammer just...you know "decide" that he's no longer Worthy?
Unlike Steve, he dindu nuffin goddamit! >:3
Nothing that was wrong!

Calling it now, the hammer can sense it. I believe Steve has been planning this the entire time, to get the worst Hydra had to offer in the same place, all the secrets in the open.....so he can take them all out at once with no prejudice. I think the point of the story is that you can change what happens to a man, but not who he is at his core. It will show additional scenes that show how Steve came to resent Hydra, but realized that he would have to bide his time to strike.

Nha.
Hydra was in NO position to take over the world, all that happened thanks to Steve.
I think that there is still some essence of the good old Steve in the body of Hydra Cap.
It certainly wouldn't be the first time that he's resisting the cosmic cube.
Obviously we can't blame him for what HydraCap has done, but that doesn't make him "worthy" either.
Seriously how could HE lift Mjolnir but Not Odinson?????
He's "more worthy" than Odinson??? Bullshit!
I'll wait and see, hopefuly there's a genius explanation that i am missing, fingers crossed.
P.S. I'm not being sarcastic.

@Doomsday8888 - Now I know you don't read the comics. The only thing keeping Odinson from lifting the hammer is Odinson himself! It was revealed what Fuy's words to him where, and since I don't want to spoil it, it relates to the God Butcher storyline which is not only an awesome read, but speaks volumes about the character that Thor has. And Hydra has been a CONSTANT threat to the 616 for years, Seriously, like, where have you been? If someone kept screwing with your life to varying degrees for years, would you just leave them alone to until they do something real bad...which, you know, they have a track record with?

Man this is kinda annoying...
You may not agree with what i have to say, but at least don't use the "you don't read comics" card on me, wtf man...
I know why Odison can't lift that hammer, but that reason is LAME af!
Why should he believe what he says? Coz he speaks the truth? Maybe, so What???
Mjolnir should know if he's worthy or not, right?
THAT's why i'm saying that they MUST have changed the nature of the hammer, coz this is not how it works.
Because you're basically telling me that "believing in youself is reason enough to lift the hammer" and since Steve believes in himself, in Hydra's cause, and what he's done, it's all good.
But since Odinson started doubting himselfs?
Nope, sorry buddy, you can't lift Mjolnir!

Yeah well, this is not how "Worthiness" works.
