DC's New 52 comics introduced a lot of new elements to the DC Universe, one of those being the affair between Superman and Wonder Woman. Since DC's cinematic Universe is apparently drawing some inspiration from the current comics (producer Charles Roven seemingly confirmed that they're using the New 52's origin for Wonder Woman), many fans were wondering whether or not we'll be seeing the love triangle on screen.
Well, according to Amy Adams, who's returning as Lois Lane after playing the character in Man of Steel, we won't be seeing that - at least not in this film.
“It’s exciting to get to bring in all these other characters and I was really excited that Gal (Gadot) was involved, because it was a nice to have another girl on set, even if we don’t work together a lot, it was nice to have her there", she told Coming Soon. "They always think that you put in another woman and automatically… ‘Catfight!’ No, I think that’s a male fantasy thing. I don’t think that’s reality. I don’t know how it will turn out, if we’re going to be competition, but we are not in this, I can safely say, and we’re not in real life. She’s just the coolest girl ever.”
