Quinten Tarintino is inarguably one of the greatest directors alive. He has attributed some fairly iconic films to cinema, and going to see his new film always promises something great. Unfortunately I haven't seen Grindhouse so this list will include the other eight films he has written and directed. Perhaps a hateful eight. (See what I did there?)

Okay, let's begin.

8. Deathproof

By no stretch a bad film, Death Proof is still widely accepted as Tarantino's worst film. It's definitely worth a watch, even when missing the Tarintino regulars like Sam Jackson or Uma Thurman. It does feature a very awesome performance from Tracie Thoms (who appeared recently in a great episode of Catfish).

7. Kill Bill Volume 2

Again, even bad Tarintino movies are good in comparison to everything else. Kill Bill is an awesome franchise, and the second one definitely contains one of the best movie monologs in history, but it lacks in other areas which makes it fall into the shadow of it's predecessor. It made a few mistakes, but it is far from bad. By the way, when are we getting the third one?

6. Jackie Brown

Why don't more people know about this movie? It's grimy, tense and insanely entertaining. All of the actors in it work brilliantly under Tarantino, especially Jackson and De Niro. Is it his best film? No. Is it a great film? Yes! If you haven't watched it, please do. You'll thank me later.

5. Django Unchained

Who can put awesome violence and an unapologetic depiction of slavery in the same film? Tarintino. That's who. All of the actors are fantastic in this western epic. Leanardo Dicaprio breaks through his regular typecasting to play a fantastically sinister villain. It's hard to watch realism mixed with a spaghetti western style makes for a masterpiece. Who else is excited for Hateful Eight? *Raises Hand*. Will Smith turned down the roll of Django? Smart move Fresh Prince.

4. Kill Bill Volume 1

I'm going to get some hate for putting this at fourth. I just want to say that it was a very tough decision. But as the list is opinion based, it was my choice to make. Anyway, Kill Bill Volume 1 is a fantastically written, acted and shot revenge film. Arguably Tarantino's most Iconic film, it's filled with awesome and gory violence while still being cleverly written. Again, where's the third one?

3. Inglorious Basterds

I love this film with a passion. Featuring a hilarious performance from Brad Pitt and a terrifying performance from Christoph Waltz (The Jew Hunter is fantastic!). Also, Micheal Fassbender's performance in this makes me want to see him take the next turn as Bond. There is also a fairly surprising cameo from Mike Myers. Best thing he's done in the past decade? Definitely.

2. Reservoir Dogs

Reservoir Dogs is not only a classic Tarintino film, it's also a classic film. The only heist film to take place after the heist, it's violent, witty, dark and very intriguing. It also contains my favorite opening scene of all time, with a brilliant monolog from Steve Buscemi about tips.

*Drumroll*

1. Pulp Fiction

Are you really surprised? Pulp Fiction is an out of order masterpiece that leaves everyone with a gaping mouth by the end of the first viewing. It's timeless, darkly hilarious and difficult to stop watching. It's only dip is the segment with Bruce Willis, but even that part is engrossing. A fake scripture about the vengeance of god, written by Tarintino and spoken by Samuel L Jackson? Yes please. It's fun to put the film in order and theorize what was in the case with the combination 666 (it was Wallace's soul, I'm sure of it). Pulp Fiction is an unforgettable piece of Cinema History.
