SDCC '14: Which BATMAN Will Debut As This Year's Exclusive LEGO Minifigure?

Well, it's one of several exclusives, anyway. LEGO are once again releasing five new minifigures at this week's San Diego Comic-Con, one of which representing the Dark Knight's strangest iteration in celebration of his 75th anniversary. Check it out!

Toy giant LEGO are producing a number of minifigures exclusive to Comic-Con in San Diego, and they have officially revealed that in celebration of Batman's 75th anniversary, one of the five minifigs will be -- Batman of Zurr-En-Arrh. He has the chance to be won along with The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug's Bard the Bowman, the Collector from Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, and Cutesykitty and Cheerykitty, both of whom are from The Lego Movie. These tend to be in huge demand, so keep that in mind if you're attending the Con!

Potential Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice News at SDCC Saturday

Our first hint of something Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice related at the San Diego Comic-Con comes today from the Hollywood Reporter, which indicates that a panel on Saturday may hold some teases or information about the upcoming movie.

For those in the area, the Warner Brothers event will take place at 10:00 AM in Hall H. Watch here for more as it develops.

Thanks for the info, dude, always appreciated, but I've got some disappointing news.

I've been friends with a guy who works for Warner Bros. Australia for years, and he spoke to me a few days ago. He's seen all three BvS suits - Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman - but we're unlikely to see WW at SDCC. In fact, he said, we're unlikely to see much of anything from the film at the Con, as he's seen WB's San Diego line-up.

They're playing it relatively quiet because, he said, it's still early days. So despite what we've been hoping, I don't think WB are sneaky. I think they're telling the truth when they're saying there's nothing BvS-related planned.

Or maybe he's just tricking me and we will see something. Who know, eh?

You should put that in an article......did he say what WW costume looked like?

I would, but, I kinda don't want to risk it getting MAJOR exposure. He told me, trusting me as a fan and as a friend, that I wouldn't go telling everybody. He's told me and shown me stuff for years and I've just had to keep my mouth shut.

For example, I saw a bunch of Man of Steel concept art and a sizzle reel around two years ago, AND he told me WB would announce a Batman/Superman movie days before SDCC. THAT was mind-blowing ;)

He wasn't very specific on WW's costume, but he did say it's gladiator leather... a Sif in Thor: The Dark World kind of vibe. She's got her sword, shield and lasso (he said they have ditched the rumoured spear).

But yeah... I might make an article if people keep insisting that WB are hiding something.

I think thet if there is anything from BvS at SDCC, then they wouldn't have it on the official agenda at all.
Remember last time, we just got news that they were gonna announce Batman Vs. Superman, whilst the Con was in progress.
So there is hope. That and the Hollywood Reporter is pretty reliable.
Though with this movie, no fvcker knows jack-guano, y'know?

Haha true, but I'm saying that everybody seems to think WB will pull something out of their hats like last year. But I honestly don't think that's gonna happen.

The Collector getting his own minifig is nuts!
Just need Korath and Yondu.

That's really cool! Not sure why they added the extra purple on the legs though. Usually the connector between the legs and the torso serves as the underwear.
