The official poster that was released alongside the teaser trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness back in December was pretty cool, but this fan-made effort might be even better!
Digital artist César Castillo Marquez has been sharing some very impressive fan-posters recently, and his latest creation may be his finest work to date. The poster utilizes the same concept as the official one-sheet to even more striking effect, as the Master of the Mystic Arts (Benedict Cumberbatch) and the Scarlet Witch's (Elizabeth Olsen) faces are intertwined.
The red eyes may suggest that this is the "Supreme" Strange Variant we glimpsed in the trailer, while Wanda is flashing a rather wicked look herself.
In related news, a crew member for Sam Raimi's sequel has taken to social media to hype up the new trailer. We don't have an ETA (the Super Bowl is a possibility), but if this comment in any indication, our next look at the movie is going to feature quite a few surprises!
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness also stars Rachel McAdams as Dr. Christine Palmer (and possibly Clea), Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo, and Xochitl Gomez as the debuting America Chavezis, and is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
