DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS Leaked BTS Footage Shows Benedict Cumberbatch's Defender Strange

Some supposed leaked footage from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been conjured up on social media, and it appears to show Benedict Cumberbatch suited up as the mysterious Defender Strange.

This week, Hasbro revealed the first action figures for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and we were left with lots to discuss. By far the biggest talking point was a new take on Stephen Strange dubbed "Defender Strange." Theories have since run rampant about whether this is another Variant or perhaps even the hero's new look in the MCU.

The sorcerer feels overdue for an updated costume, as he's been wearing the same old robes since 2016's Doctor Strange. This iteration of the character is also an Avenger and superhero, so dubbing him a Defender (we'd love the film to end with Strange assembling that team) makes a whole lot of sense.

Following the debut of that Marvel Legends action figure, some supposed leaked footage from the set of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness appears to show Benedict Cumberbatch suited and booted as Defender Strange for a green screen sequence.

While we can never say for sure with these things, the footage appears to be legit and not something that's been cleverly cobbled together by a tech-savvy fan. In terms of spoilers, this really reveals nothing, so we remain in the dark about what to expect from the sorcerer in this film! There have been plot leaks circulating, but none of them mention this change in appearance for Strange.

This movie sure is gonna have quite a few Strange variants it seems. Guess Cumberbatch meant that when he said I wasn't sure it was his movie anymore, he meant main Strange

I assume this Steven Seagal Strange variant will be one of the MCU's Strange allies in the film, against possibly the Strange Supreme one.

Multiverse of Madness looks like another all timer. Marvel's 2021 run has been absolutely bananas but it looks like 2022 is going to somehow find another gear

Does it still look like fat Seagal ? I know it did on the leaked picture but the video doesn't look like fat Seagal ? Hard to tell since it's not a close up. Surely that can't be right. I'm sure his face won't look like that.

WTF is this. Ok, it's a grainy ass, green screen shot of Cumberbatch spinning around with disco lights. Looking like some cheap ass Farscape that got a dolly in its budget.

I mean, do we need to know and see everything? What the hell have we become? lol. Why do we keep feeding hits to people like this who put him up such useless [frick]ing junk for scoops. Can't we all just wait for official releases? We're [frick]ing fiends, man, it's a bit pathetic. I feel stupid for clicking on this and expecting something.
