New Concept Art Reveals An Alternate Costume Design For DOCTOR STRANGE
Conceptual artist Andy Park has just shared a new piece of early concept art for Marvel's Doctor Strange, featuring a very different costume design from the one we saw in theaters. Come take a look!
Marvel's Doctor Strange was a runaway hit this past November as it mystified its way to over $658.9 million at the worldwide box office, making it the seventh highest grossing Marvel Studios film ever. Certainly not a bad haul for one of the studio's riskiest outings yet. A sequel has yet-to-be announced, but it's likely not far off and we've already heard a few details from the writer on who he hopes to include in a potential second installment.
Compared to some of his future Avengers teammates, Stephen Strange had one of the most elaborate (and interactive) costumes we've seen in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, and just like those other heroes, his outfit also underwent a number of different variations in the pre-production phase as evidenced by this concept art, which comes to us from Marvel Studios Visual Development Supervisor and conceptual artist Andy Park. Check it out:
