New DOCTOR STRANGE Concept Art Shows A Very Different Take On The Dread Dormammu
Doctor Strange's take on Dormammu divided fans, with some loving the redesign and others wishing it had stuck a little more closely to the comic books. Well, the villain could have looked even stranger!
Doctor Strange surprised us all by having Dormammu show up in the final act of the movie, and while many fans loved the villain's appearance, some were disappointed that he didn't bear much of a resemblance to his comic book counterpart. Well, Andy Park has taken to Instagram to show off an early alternate design, and as you can see, things could have played out much, much differently!
Also below are some of Park's various takes on the Sorcerer Supreme himself, and while they're not too radically different to what we ended up seeing on the big screen, it's again interesting to wonder what might have been. They're perhaps not as faithful to the comic books as what we ended up getting in the movie, but are something of a modern update on the iconic character's classic appearance.
