ETERNALS Star Salma Hayek Confirms She's Signed On For Multiple Marvel Studios Movies

Eternals star Salma Hayek has confirmed that she's signed a multi-picture deal with Marvel Studios, but given what happens in the movie, what does that actually mean? Be warned that spoilers do follow...

WARNING: Major Spoilers for Eternals follow!

It's no secret that Marvel Studios signs actors to multi-picture deals, but the fact that Salma Hayek will seemingly return as Ajak is definitely a surprise. Why? Well, as we're sure you'll now know, the character dies in the movie after being killed by the Deviants (by way of Ikaris).

Hayek confirming that she's likely to make more than just a single appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe could be noteworthy in two respects.

For starters, it could be a strong indication that when we revisit this world's past, the Eternals - and the role they've played in history - could continue to be addressed in some ways. However, it's also possible Ajak will be reborn; if Arishem has her memories, then she could return in a new body (alternatively, someone else's memories could be put in that synthetic form).

We'll see. It's certainly possible Marvel Studios won't bring Hayek back and that it's just become the norm for them to sign actors up for future projects given the MCU's ongoing expansion.
