Dick Grayson a lawyer owns a flat and is in a very good relationship with Barbara Gordon not too far from proposing.
Batman gets hurt by trying to stop a night time bank robbery and is in a coma the streets get worse day by day Gordon doesn’t know were batman is and has the bat light on non stop.
Dick wants to go and fight to help Gotham when Barbara threatens to leave him because she know that being a masked vigilante hero is to dangerous.
Dick is to confused about what to do to let Gotham fall and die or save Gotham and lose is love?
Dick goes to church and prays for a answer with what to do which way to go what road to take.
dick is 25-27 and Barbara doesn’t want dick to go back to a crime fighting vigilante.
the streets are to bad dick using Alfred and lucius help makes a suit and a redesign of his original staff into two pieces like a cross between a police baton and escrima fighting sticks, custom batarangs a grapnel gun a knuckle duster but slim lined and a tazer.
the bat light is on Gordon is on roof in the darkness a person is there Gordon starts talking assuming its batman telling him what they’ve done and asking him were he's been.
Dick walks forward when Gordon realising its not batman pulls a gun out aims it and sais who are you.
Dick walks forward still knowing Gordon’s a good cop and won’t kill him without a good reason.
Dick says I’m someone here to help.
Gordon looks weirdly at dick and says "robin?"
Dick replies use to be not know.
Gordon lowers his gun and asks where batman was dick says he's out of town ill have to make do with me for know.
The way Barbara became batgirl is Gordon asks batman to just train some basics to his daughter so became batgirl making her own suit batman tried to stop her but she insisted.
at the time dick was robin and became close to Barbara and he knew she was Barbara Gordon but she didn’t know robin was dick until they fell in love and dick took his mask of in front of her at age 19 when she was age 18. But that’s just a little thing I’m not too much of a Barbara fan so that’s criticism I would happily accept.
