JAMES MARSDEN is the perfect CYCLOPS, very under used though, but that was one of FOXES good things about X-MEN.

I like it, though I do have my fair share of preferences.

I'll start with the ones I really like:

Apocalypse, MCD is the only one for the job.
Gambit, hadn't thought of Franco before, he'd be terrific.
Havok
Cable

I'd get rid of Marsden, he wasn't very good as Cyke, I thought he was annoying.

I'll give you some of my personal picks:

Garret Hedlund as Angel, dude, how could you use Jason Lewis? TRAITOR! J/K ;)

Christian Campbell/Michael Rosenbaum as Quicksilver
Anne Hathaway as Scarlet Witch
Keith David as Mr. Sinister

Gotta be honest, when I first read this, I hated it. But as I look over it more, it's not bad. Not a huge fan of the Angel pick, and I think Kelsey Grammer needs to stay. Every time I see Ali Larter, all I think is Emma Frost. I think she'd own that one. I know that just about everyone on here thinks Keith David should play Sinister, but I think Gary Oldman should play that one.

For the most part, I like it!

LEE: Yeah, I suppose its a bit of a reboot! Sort of like The Incredible Hulk though rather than a full one! Id like to see the back of Xavier and see Emma Frost running things until Cable brings back Cyclops or something! As long as Larter cn pull off a decent British accent, I think she'd make a decent White Queen!

I think Padalecki would make a good Quicksilver as his character in Supernatural had a similar relationship with his father as Pietro does with Magneto so I can see him doing a good job of playing a character with "daddy issues", lol!

I was basing my Kitty choice on how old the character is now because Id like to leave teenage characters out of this movie altogether after what they did with Iceman and Rogue! I actually have no idea about who Scarlet Witch belongs to but assuming its Fox Id like to see Magneto's kids in the next few movies! And yeah, I can see Bosworth working well as Polaris! What did you think of my picks for Gambit and Magneto - they're my two favourites so Id be interested to know what you think! :)

TYLER: Thanks! Franco is one of my favourite choices as not only would he be great in the role but he actually looks like an older version of the guy from Origins! I think that Singer was to blame for Marsden not being a good Cyclops - under the right director I think that we could finally see the Scott we all know from the comic books!

LMAO, I chose Lewis because he has the pretty boy look of Angel and for some reason I can imagine him as the businessman version of the character who in my vision of the movie now funds the X-Men with his millions! I like your choices and would be happy to see your picks for Magneto, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Emma Frost just as much as mine! I like your other choices as well though Im not 100% sure about Padalecki as Cyclops!

BlackCat1: Id definitely like Wolverine in this one and thats why I chose to put Sabretooth in the movie as well! X-Men 1 should have featured Sabretooth taunting Logan about his past but now we've delved into their past in Origins, X-4 is the best place to show this! I've never liked Storm (even in the comic books) so Id be happy for her to have a cameo but thats it and I never really liked Grammar as Beast even though to be fair, he did a good job in the awful X-3!

Josh: Thanks, I agree that Singer had a hand in the misinterpretation of Cyke, but Marsden just didn't give me that feeling like he's the leader, and gave a weak and boring performance IMO.

Padalecki I think would be a great Cyclops man! Sam reminds me of Cyke all the time! He's always trying to do the right thing and wants to be a hero and save as many people as he can (for example, he liked that he didn't have to kill people when they were possessed by demons, since he could exorcise them himself), yet he does have a conflicted inner struggle at times, giving him depth and real emotional weight. Not only those things, but the dude is a giant, meaning he wouldn't look out of place as the leader of the X-Men, and is in amazing physical shape.

Lewis does have the look for Angel, though his sh*t eating, advertising grin is too distracting! ;)

But again, I do like your picks a whole lot. And Fassbender as Sinister is actually really growing on me, I reckon he's my second choice, after Keith David, but I don't think there's an actor out there who I would like better as Mr. S than David!

BTW, I just started watching Reaper (the TV show), and it's awesome! Fu*cking hilarious! And now I know for sure that Bret Harrison IS Spider-Man!

I'm not crazy about Leee's lover as Angel. I say keep Foster, because while he was bad as Warren, he would be phenomenal as Archangel!

Hawk- Traci Lords? The underage I got raped everyday 14 year old porn star? She's the little c**t who almost took down the industry, I would burn her alive for that. She couldn't act in porn, she ain't acting in X-Men. That aside it's a solid cast, I would say put Lewis for Havok and keep Gambit form Origins. I think he would be fine as Gambit if he had a larger role in the film

Hey I have been pulling for Pine as Hawkeye for months. But since FOX has the rights to Iceman. He could be both.

I think Rachel would be a great Jean. I still want Blunt for Black Widow, so I can't see her in anything else. But wait until you see Rachel in SHerlock Holmes before you count him out.

@DDD. Dude Jackman is the one thing FOX got right! He was perfect, except for his height. But that doesn't bug me much anymore. Not as much as what else they've done.
