The God of Thunder in Chalk

I participated in this year's Pasadena Chalk Festival with Thor as my subject.

The annual Pasadena Chalk Festival celebrated its 21st Anniversary this past Father’s Day Weekend June 15 and 16, 2013 at Paseo Colorado in Pasadena, CA. Each year thousands of spectators enjoy the annual festival that is open to the public and free of charge. Hundreds of artists come from all across Southern California to spend two days on their hands and knees creating spectacular chalk murals on concrete areas in every style imaginable.

Last year was my first year participating and I did Wonder Woman in the style of Alphonse Mucha. Didn't know anything about the technique of chalk art so it was a big learning experience for me.

This year I wanted to do Thor. Always been one of my favorite comic heroes, AND since he has a new film coming out this year, I figured it was appropriate.

Let me know what you think...
