JACK THE GIANT SLAYER tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants. Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack, into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend--and gets the chance to become a legend himself. Now available on DVD & Blu-Ray!

Disney's fantastical adventure "Oz The Great and Powerful," directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum's beloved character, the Wizard of Oz. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he's hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone's been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.

A funny new twist on a classic love story, WARM BODIES is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human – setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.

was directed by Jonathan Levine, from a script written by Jonathan Levine. The cast includes: Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, Rob Corddry, and John Malkovich. Now available on DVD and Blu-ray!

@ Nailbiter

I did see Jack the Giant Slayer on my way back from my Europe vacation on the plane!!!!! SMH!!!!! And yes it was terrible

Actually come to think about it they showed all three of these movies on the plane.

OZ
Warm Bodies
Jack the Giant Slayer

And they showed a movie called Stoker, I have to say I really enjoyed that movie very much.

Well in all fairness I think what I did not like was the CGI.... The story was good and I enjoyed the actors. So I should correct myself the movie was alright.

Warm Bodies & Oz were very good but jack was just boring and way too plain.

I gathered strenght and watched Jack and Oz.

Oz was, as I expected, a disaster. The performances were dreadful. Mila Kunis was wooden and Weisz was in autopilot. And I swear, with the exception of 127 Hours, James Franco is acting worse every fricking year. Try rewatching Freaks and Geeks or Spider-Man 1 and 2 and then watching this film. It's like he doesn't even care anymore. And, for a film with this budget, the effects were really lacking. The green screen was terrible in many passages.

I have to say that I was surprised with Jack The Giant Slayer. It's as average as a film can be, but it has very good performances (although I don't think Hoult has the charisma to carry a film like this, and Tucci was underused) and a simple but reasonably fun story.

Warm Bodies was a slight dissapointment. The trailers made it seem like an interesting satire of the genre, but it lacks bite and ends up being more generic than expected (and John Malkovitch was criminally underused, though he didn't seem very engaged with the character). It's a better movie than Oz and Jack though.

Oz was brilliant, Jack the Giant Slayer was garbage, Warm Bodies was decent.

Whoa, now these are 3 movies that totally suck and I couldn't care less about. I respect those who say that Oz is a good movie, to me it isn't, it's extremely corny and cheesy.
