At the end of the first film, the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise wizards and witches up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Huge HP fan, loved the first FB film... But this one was crap. And its a standard WB move to add footage to bluray release if the film was crap. My guess is it wont make it any less crap. Hop the next one isnt crap.

Any movie with an extended cut nowadays might as well have a "Shit Movie" label stamped on the case.

Unlike others I really liked this film. Defienlty more than the first one (whihc I still like).

My only issue was Letas lestranges half brother. Maybe he will play a role later in the story but he felt very much pointless to this story.

Also, Ezra Miller really needs tell his agent to run a tighter ship after this franchise and DCEU (The One’s he appeared in) both sucked. Both conveniently owned by Warner Brothers... there’s a hint.

The Harry Potter Franchise needs to move on from David Yates. Nothing against him, as he's given us good HP films, no doubt.

I just feel like the franchise needs a breath of fresh air in the form of director.

Honestly I don’t know why it got so much hate haha I thought it was pretty cool. Depp managed to impress me, too.
