Jennifer Lawrence Says She’ll Love To Do More ‘HUNGER GAMES’ Films
No surprise here. After starring in the first three 'Hunger Games' films as the main protagonist, who wouldn’t want to make more of these films! Hit the jump to see what J-Law had to said about wanting to do more films for the franchise. Check it out!
Jennifer Lawrence has done a spectacular job portraying Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games film, and as the Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part II, seemingly being the last film in the franchise Lawrence says she’s "not happy about it at all.” She said that she’d be up to play Katniss many more times, but dislikes the fact that the cast is so far away from each other as of now. “I would totally do [more movies]. And now Liam's doing a movie in Australia for two months. It's the longest that the three of us have ever spent apart.'' If you kept track of the books, you’d know that there is no more written after the Mockingjay saga. So unless everyone decides to get together again and make a new one from scratch, we most likely will not get another Hunger Games film. But, if there may so happen to be another film made, what would you like it to be about? Sound off below with your thoughts!
The Hunger Games is a 2012 American science fiction adventure film directed by Gary Ross and based on the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins. The picture is the first installment in The Hunger Games film series and was produced by Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik, with a screenplay by Ross, Collins, and Billy Ray. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Stanley Tucci, and Donald Sutherland.[5] The story takes place in a dystopian post-apocalyptic future in the nation of Panem, where boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18 must take part in the Hunger Games, a televised annual event in which the "tributes" are required to fight to the death until there is one remaining who will be crowned the victor. Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) volunteers to take her younger sister's place in the games. Joined by her district's male tribute Peeta Mellark (Hutcherson), Katniss travels to the Capitol to train for the Hunger Games under the guidance of former victor Haymitch Abernathy (Harrelson).
