Keep on tapping the keg until it's empty. Might as well.

I don't know if it's a good idea to keep forcing one POTC after another. I mean, the first one was fantastic, second was excellent, and the third was....kinda lame compared to the others. I'm only open to wanting a fifth [and potentially sixth, since Disney wants to shoot two more sequels back-to-back] if the fourth one is awesome.

If they keep up this pace, they´ll reach our time period, with british pirates stealing argentian islands with submarines, and then they´ll have to go to the future, with klingon pirates and such.

FFS! stop the pain. POTC (apart from the 1st one that was acceptable) sucks.

Why is it considered milking a franchise dry. when there are always new and decent stories that can be told with these characters? Does anyone trash the idea of a new James Bond movie? Surely that has been milked enough? If it is successful in the box office, obviously there is a market for it. If it ever bombs, then they will stop. It's basic capitalism. They supply it because there is enough of a demand for it. More power to them and the franchise. If you dont like it, dont watch it.

There is a demand and it is basic capitalism. If there's a profit they will keep making it. that's not disputable.

Personally I wasn't impressed by Dead Man's Chest and hated World's End so probably won't be seeing it.

As long as they are entertaining? I say make as many as James Bond......BUT, they'll end up making Jack Sparrow into another Indiana Jones. After this, he'll either find Atlantis or see the strange orb come out of the water that Columbus is said to have seen.....

Why not? Everybody loves pirates. Booze? Good. Women? Good. Swashbuckling? Good. Three great tastes that taste great together. Btw, how does one buckle swash?
