The first trailer for the intriguing Paramont Pictures film has a teaser trailer (low resoluton). After being removed a few days ago, another coy of the leaked trailer has resurfaced.

Paramount Pictures and Aronofsky are currently battling over the final cut of Noah because of early criticisms following test screenings in New York, Arizona and Orange County. I assume the debate is all about whether or not this film version reflects the true story of the fictional man that nobody really has a clue about.

Some fans are saying that the studio/audiences can't deal with Aronofky's "dark vision," but unless they're talking about lighting I don't see any of that darkness here. This all feels very uplifting with a positive message about doing right against all odds and environmentalism. Black Swan it ain't.

What do you guys think?

this actually doesn't look bad, i may see it, especially comparing it to most religious movies, but "the most remarkable event in our history?" i think a lot of opeople would disagree on the event in our history part

-Oh, it's definitely dark, this trailer was just made with 'Christian' audiences in mind, so it omits said 'darkness' and panders to the crowd to lure an audience.

I do see some errors with the film. That is if they want to go with what the Bible says. The error is that it shows rain but it never rained. Instead the ground opened up and water came up from the ground. Instead of coming down from the sky like it does when it rains.

Plus if I am not mistaken Noah had no daughter but three sons instead. So I am not sure if they were saying Emma was Noah's daughter or not. She could be one of his three daughters
in-laws though. Also I believe the Bible says when the rain was coming up from the ground they still did not believe Noah. Plus even if they did the Ark was closed before it started raining up.

So I can see why it would be getting hate from the different groups they showed it to.

I will hold out on judgement for now. But so far I see no reason that really pulls at me to want to see it.

@BlackIce

In the trailer, you do see the ground open up with water shooting out.
