Kristen Stewart was recently on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,” and she finally opens up about her mysterious injury that has shut down filming for her new movie Snow White and the Huntsman. As for a scoop she revealed that her movie will have eight dwarves and not seven.

“(The dwarves are) so different,” she said. “They’re pesky little creatures. I broke my thumb on one of them. Actually, I didn’t break it. It was a really bad ligament tear.”

But that wasn’t the only time Stewart risked the well-being of her right hand while working on the film. In fact, during one scene, she risked both her hand and co-star Chris Hemsworth’s face when, despite direction to the contrary, Stewart punched the actor.

It made such a sound!” she explained, throwing a punch in the air. “Girls, if you’ve ever wondered if it works — it works! I mean, it literally spun him right around. It was crazy.”
With some excitement, Stewart said, “I was supposed to miss him by this much. I basically knocked him right out of his close-up.” But then she tried to sound a little less thrilled by adding, “I mean, I’m not proud, though. Instantly tears sprung to my eyes. I’m like, ‘Are you OK?’”

Leno didn’t buy the sudden and brief mention of concern.
