Directors Neveldine and Taylor have confirmed that the famous peeing fire scene at the end of the Spirit Of Vengeance trailer will be in the film. They also talk about what Ghost Rider does with a 700 foot hellified Strip Miner.

Speaking to MTV, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Crank), talk about the famous scene in the trailer in which Nic Cage's Johnny Blaze wees fire. They make it clear that the shot wasn't just a gimmick for the trailer, and will be used in the film at some point. Neveldine jokingly says that Cage could actually pee fire, and that little CGI was included in the shot.

The directors also comment on the hellish vehicles that Ghost Rider will ride in the film, saying that anything the character rides will become hellified, including a strip miner that rips through mountains.

In this movie, anything he rides becomes hellified and turns into sort of a weapon. It's not just the Hellcycle. There are a lot of things he gets on and hellifies. Among the vehicles Blaze will hellify is a 700-foot strip miner … that actually rips through mountains. It's always good to have one of those on fire.

This actually sounds really cool in the most over the top kind of way. I'd like to see a comic like this where SHIELD gives Ghost Rider a bunch of vehicles to use. Ghost Rider and Optimus Prime have a baby? HECK YEA

@logan2010 and @marvel72...you're both dead on. Bad enough "Ridiculous Cage" is Johnny Blaze again. The "peeing" scene is really stupid and gives the impression that the film is campy or tongue in cheek, which is a shame. "Ghost Rider" should be intense horror mixed with a heavy dose of demons, ritualism, and Satanism...something like the creepy devil flicks of the late 60's and early 70's.

Are you guys for real, or what? Pissing fire is some light relief for those of the general public who happen to see the flick for a 'ride' or 'a laff'. C'mon - suspending disbelief is a prerequisite, so pissing fire is not a bridge too far by any stretch of the imagination.

Could it be any worse than the previous movie? Of course it could. GR was leagues better than, say, Jonah Hex for (or even $1) to see this...

But I'm British, so that's not surprising. :)

FWIW I'm open at this point. Will see how it looks/feels around release time and I'll make up my mind then.

hahaha - this movie is gonna be a fun way to kill a couple of hours - no high expectations from me.

I still think Cage has been a bad casting choice since day one and movie one. Should get someone younger
