Ever since Supermax was rumoured to happen, Charlie Hunnam has been a fan-favourite choice to play Oliver Queen/Green Arrow. That's evident from the sheer amount of artwork out there featuring him suited up as the DC Comics hero, but in a recent interview with Yahoo Movies, the Welsh actor made it clear that he has no interest in joining any big screen comic book universe in the near future.
"I didn’t grow up a comic book fan and I haven’t really seen any of those Marvel films or the Batman films," he confessed. "It’s just not really my taste. I must confess I don’t really know who the Green Arrow is. It’s not part of my vision for my career or what I aspire to." That's fair enough, but...well, if he thinks Pacific Rim and King Arthur are better career choices than a big budget Marvel or DC movie, he may want to change what he is and isn't a fan of, not to mention getting a better agent!
