FAN-ART: Here's What JASON BOURNE Star Matt Damon Would Look Like As DC's Emerald Archer, GREEN ARROW

We all know that Stephen Amell plays Oliver Queen in Arrow, but who could take on the role on the big screen? Well, this awesome fan-art puts Matt Damon (Batfleck's BFF) in the Emerald Archer's hood...

Matt Damon recently revealed that he's going to be taking a year off from acting, so we won't see him in a superhero movie any time soon. However, the Jason Bourne star joining the Marvel or DC Cinematic Universe at some point in the not too distant future feels like an inevitability, and you can't deny that seeing him standing alongside Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne/Batman would be awesome!

If and when that does happen, why not as Green Arrow? After all, Damon recently wowed fans by reading some of the character's best known lines for Kevin Smith, and there's no denying that he could do Oliver Queen justice on the big screen. Whether that's in a Justice League movie or in that long rumoured Supermax is a conversation for another day, but it would be a great bit of casting.

Now, a new piece of fan-art has put Damon in the Emerald Archer's costume, and you can't deny that it looks good on him! As always, be sure to share your thoughts on this in the comments section.

If Batman can be an OG 40 something vigilante in the DCEU,why can't Green Arrow?

@WarnerBrother - I prefer he be older, a big part of his character prior to Flashpoint was that he had a midlife crisis. Plus its better to distance themselves from the New 52 and CW takes on the character.

100% Agree, not everybody in the superhero game should be (or look like) a millennial.

Man, Asians are not happy about Damon in The Great Wall.

@Battabing - It's funny because they're calling it "white-washing"...as if the role had been previously established to be an Asian character....

Also, it's a movie about someone who travels to China....from well...not China...

And there are monsters...

Not sure who realistic it's supposed to be.

@Battabing -

Why ?There are plenty of Chinese historical epics made by Asians with all Asian casts
that nobody in America gives a crap about outside the arthouse scene or Asian American
community.

In a perfect world, the average white guy in Missouri should shell out ten bucks to see
an all Asian historical fantasy epicb but clearly that's not the case.

Hollywood wants the money of middle America and will pander to that demo by having a white
star the same way it panders to Chinese audiences by putting China into tent pole films like
The Martian or Independence Day.
