The Hollywood Reporter reveals that producers Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and David Nutte told fans at the
Arrow panel earlier today that Kelly Hu has signed up to play China White in the CW series. The villainess was first introduced in
Green Arrow: Year One, and will play a similar role in the television series as she did in the comic books (a drug cartel leader who Oliver Queen meets during his time marooned on a desert island). The pilot episode has been met with a mostly positive response following a screening on Wednesday, and star Stephen Amell feels confident that the show may have a run equal to that of
Smallville.
"If all goes well, we'll be working for the next decade," he told cheering fans at the convention.
