Although Warner Bros' superhero film, Green Lantern, has just wrapped it's principal photography, the hardest part has just begun. The film's director and crew will be moving back to Los Angeles this week to begin the long process of post production, which for his movie in particular is a daunting task. Not only is the Green Lantern suit Ryan Reynolds wears in the movie completely computer generated, but the majority of alien Lantern Corps members are as well.

And speaking of Corps members... eager Green Lantern fans have been waiting a long time to see him, and here he is now. The Poozer-stopping Kilowog:

As you can see, the final design for Kilowog is much different from the early concept art that leaked online several months ago. The changes in his body design are similar to those made for Tomar Re; which emphasis a less humanoid appearance.

The only thing I'm not sure of is that he has human eyes. Other than that... YES!

It's okay.. Although his face looks like melting cheese.

Nice, I agree about the eyes though.

They just need to darken his face a little but overall I'll give it an 8.

i agree with Dynamo. The eyes and color of the skin kinda ruined him for me. I liked the concept way more than this

I agree. I was more psyched for that concept art. Oh well. Here's to hoping this one works better on screen for whatever reason

I love how the line of his mouth goes all the way back. His side profile seems like it's perfect. I love that the eyes have a little bit of a more human quality.

This is REALLY coming together nicely. I'm a fairly big GL fan and so far I have no complaints whatsoever about this movie. I think using CGI for the costumes is a practical and creative idea. I think it's cool that the costume is a manifestation of the ring. I think RR is a great choice for Hal, and I firmly believe that Mark Strong is really going to go all out as Sinestro. It's intriguing that they might be filming the sequels back to back. I really think Green Lantern has the potential to be one of the greats.

He looks like the Hulk with a GL logo embedded in his chest with Kilwog's head haha....all kidding aside, he still looks cool though :D

This looks more like a dog or turtle inspired face, whereas I believe it should be more pig/warthog inspired. Oh well, can't win them all. I'm not a huge GL fan anyhow. I liked the concept better, but I'm sure this is probably considered more kid friendly (PG).

that actually looks really good

I love Kilowog, so the deviation from his look in the comics initially put me off -- but then I remembered that this is an "adaptation" of the comic, and I love cinematic freedom. So yeah it's awesome.

Remember, Kilowog is a major hard ass to new recruits and in a fight can wreck your sh@$ but the rest of the time Kilowog can really be a softy with a big heart. That pic shows him with a passive face but stare at it for a second and picture that face getting pissed! I think it's perfect!

That is way to human-esk. That does not look good at all. Its cool to have cinematic freedom... but that is creepy. Change the skic color or the eyes or something. Looks like something from the Hills Have Eyes... or Texas Chainsaw Massacre

It looks pretty damn good for it to be so different from the Kilowog we are all familiar with.

Looks to friendly and I don´t like the color, but hey the Joker in TDK wasn´t a copy from the comics either!
This movie will rock!

He looks pretty good for a live action version I guess but he looks better in the comic books IMO. Not really liking the look of the suit either actually...hopefully, this is some sort of early concept art and not the final product. ;(

Still can't tell what I feel about how this movie's going to look but he does look kind of cool. Only thing I don't like so far is the way the neck line seems to just fade (same with the pics of RR as GL). Makes it look like bad Photo Shop. I hope it looks better in motion and in the final versions, just making me nervous is all.

Whos voicing Kilowog in the movie?
GLGeek

I may be alone, but I like the actual MORE than the concept art.

Reason being is motion. Kilowogs... mouth... things are
so thin in the comics that artists can draw them into any position.

In actual motion however, I think they'd throw the audience off. Like I can see myself sitting there thinking, "why are those little nubbins of flesh able to stay up?" Not that I haven't heard that from many a lady, either. =)
